The members actively contribute to the Clubs community, atmosphere, heritage and culture. The Role As Pastry Head Chef, you will work on a full-time basis; 40 hours over five days on a roster basis. Typical duties will include: ?Overall responsibility for running the Pastry Kitchen and creating all desserts, afternoon tea items, pastries and other baked goods for the Clubs serveries. Leading and motivating a team of three, with responsibility for their ongoing training and development. The Candidate Candidates will embody our Club values; excellence, responsibility and courtesy. The ideal candidate will be an experienced pastry professional with strong technical skills in classic and modern patisserie, along with proven experience supervising a small team. They will be creative, organised, and confident working in a high-quality, fast-paced environment. Reliable and self-motivated, they will demonstrate excellent attention to detail, a passion for pastry, and the ability to train, support, and inspire others. They will ideally hold formal training in patisserie or professional cookery, such as an NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent qualification.
