    Flexible Part-Time Tutoring Roles in South West London Harrison Allen is a small, selective tutoring company seeking exceptional Primary and Secondary School Teachers and Tutors to join our growing team. We provide high-quality one-to-one tuition for students across South West London, including a significant amount of Local Authority-funded daytime work, as well as after-school tutoring opportunities. We are particularly looking for tutors and teachers specialising in: • English, • Maths, • Sciences, • Humanities This is an excellent opportunity for experienced educators looking for flexible part-time hours while making a meaningful impact on students’ academic progress and confidence. The Role • Deliver engaging one-to-one tuition sessions, • Support students across Primary and Secondary levels, • Work with Local Authority referrals and private clients, • Daytime and after-school opportunities available, • Flexible working hours to suit your schedule Requirements Applicants must: • Hold a completed degree, • Have teaching and/or tutoring experience, • Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and communication skills, • Be professional, reliable, and student-focused Ideally, candidates will also: • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), • Have experience supporting a range of learning needs and abilities Safeguarding You will require an Enhanced DBS registered with the Government Update Service.     Volunteer Assistant Football Coach (Ages 5–7) Location: London Commitment: 1 hour/week — Mondays, 5:00–6:00pm Type: Volunteer, with potential progression to paid role (£15–£20 per session) based on performance About the Role We're looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Coach to support our weekly football training sessions for children aged 5–7. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build coaching experience with young players, with a genuine path to a paid position — including funded FA qualifications — once you've settled in and shown you're a good fit. Responsibilities • Support the lead coach in delivering fun, safe, and age-appropriate football sessions, • Help set up and pack away equipment (cones, balls, bibs, goals), • Assist with organising children into groups/drills and keeping sessions running smoothly, • Encourage participation and positive behaviour, ensuring every child feels included, • Help supervise children during arrival and pick-up, working with parents/guardians as needed, • Provide basic first aid support where required (training can be provided), • Give feedback to the lead coach on session flow and player engagement What We're Looking For • A genuine enthusiasm for working with young children and introducing them to football, • Patient, encouraging, and reliable — able to commit to the Monday 5–6pm slot consistently, • Comfortable being active and hands-on during sessions, • Good communication skills with children and parents alike Desirable (not essential) • Previous experience working with children (coaching, teaching, childcare, or similar), • FA coaching qualifications (e.g. FA Level 1) or willingness to work towards one, • A basic understanding of football fundamentals suitable for young age groups What You'll Get • Hands-on coaching experience with a structured, established programme, • Mentorship and guidance from the lead coach, • A DBS check will be arranged and covered by us (required for the role), • Progression opportunity: after a successful initial period, this role becomes paid at £15–£20 per session, and we'll fund your FA coaching qualification (e.g. FA Level 1) to support your ongoing development How to Apply Please get in touch with a short note about yourself and any relevant experience, and we'll arrange a chat and a chance to observe or join a session.

    EXPERIENCED BAKER / PRODUCTION BAKER – £15 PER HOUR Nal’s Bakery | Nine Elms, London Part-time / Freelance to begin | Immediate start Nal’s Bakery is looking for an experienced, reliable and confident baker to join our growing independent bakery.We currently produce a range of brownies, blondies, cookies, cakes, traybakes, buns and other baked goods for our weekly market in Waterloo, private orders, corporate catering and larger events.I’m looking for someone who can work alongside me initially, learn our recipes and production systems, and eventually take greater responsibility for bakery production as the business grows. The role will include: • Producing brownies, blondies, cookies, cakes, traybakes, buns and other bakery products to our recipes and standards, • Weighing, mixing, baking, portioning and finishing products, • Preparing larger batches efficiently for markets and events, • Following recipes accurately and maintaining consistency, • Packing, labelling and organising finished stock, • Maintaining excellent food hygiene and cleanliness throughout production, • Cleaning down equipment and work areas, • Helping organise ingredients, stock and bakery equipment, • Working efficiently to production deadlines, • Assisting with larger event production, including our upcoming 31 August carnival, • Eventually contributing ideas for new products, flavours and seasonal menus What I’m looking for: You must have at least 2 years of practical baking experience, ideally within a bakery, café, restaurant, pastry kitchen or professional food-production environment.You should be comfortable working independently once trained and confident producing multiple products during a busy baking session.You’ll need to be reliable, organised, clean, efficient and genuinely passionate about baking. I’m looking for someone who takes their work seriously but also enjoys working in a relaxed, friendly small-business environment. This is particularly suited to someone who wants to grow with a young bakery rather than simply clock in and out of a shift. Opportunity to grow Nal’s Bakery is still growing, so I’m looking for someone who could potentially grow with the business.As production expands, there will be an opportunity for the right person to take on greater responsibility and potentially progress towards a Head Baker/production leadership position.I want whoever joins me to eventually have room to be creative, contribute ideas and have genuine input into the bakery’s product development. I’ll also teach you my recipes, methods and everything I’ve learned from building Nal’s Bakery. Pay & start £15 per hour I’m looking for somebody who can ideally start Wednesday 26 August, with availability to meet me and complete a trial shift this week. The immediate production schedule will include preparing for our weekly Waterloo market and a large carnival event on 31 August, so availability over the next two weeks is particularly important.
