This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised and proactive individual looking to develop their career within a busy transport and logistics environment. \n The Role \n As Transport Operations Coordinator, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the transport department, ensuring efficient vehicle utilisation, driver coordination, and exceptional customer service. \n Duties & Responsibilities \n\n • Planning and coordinating daily transport schedules and vehicle allocations\n, • Acting as the main point of contact for drivers throughout the working day\n, • Monitoring deliveries and ensuring routes run efficiently\n, • Managing transport administration and maintaining accurate records\n, • Ensuring compliance with transport legislation, driver hours, and company procedures\n, • Coordinating vehicle servicing, maintenance, inspections, and MOT schedules\n, • Liaising with customers, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure service levels are met\n, • Resolving transport-related issues quickly and effectively\n, • Supporting operational planning and providing cover arrangements when required\n, • Producing reports and assisting with the continuous improvement of transport processes\n\n What We're Looking For \n\n • Previous experience within transport, logistics, fleet, or planning operations\n, • Strong organisational and time-management skills\n, • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure\n, • Confident communicator with excellent customer service skills\n, • Good understanding of transport compliance and regulations\n, • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail\n, • CPC qualification beneficial but not essential\n, • Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle essential due to the location\n\n What's On Offer? \n Salary of £30,000 - £35,000 DOE \n Overtime available to increase your earnings \n Health & Wellbeing Programme \n Life Insurance \n Free On-Site Parking \n Stable and growing business \n Supportive team environment \n Long-term career progression opportunities \n If you're looking for a varied role where you can make a real impact and be part of a professional, forward-thinking organisation, we'd love to hear from you. \n
