The Role We are a leading supplier of high-quality, pre-owned food machinery throughout the UK and Europe, our warehouses are packed with a vast range of equipment ready for a second life. We are looking for a versatile Electrical/Mechanical Engineer to join our team. This isn't your typical "sit-at-the-bench" role. You’ll be responsible for the end-to-end refurbishment process—from the initial deep clean of incoming stock to complex electrical fault finding and final site delivery. Key Responsibilities • Maintenance & Repair: Stripping down, servicing, and repairing a wide variety of food production machinery (mixers, conveyors, ovens, etc.)., • Refurbishment: Performing deep cleans and aesthetic touch-ups to ensure machines meet our high resale standards., • Fault Finding: Diagnosing and fixing both mechanical wear-and-tear and electrical control issues., • Logistics: Operating a forklift to move heavy machinery safely within our warehouses and loading/unloading onto lorries., • Qualified: NVQ Level 3 in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical) or equivalent. We also highly value candidates who are Qualified by Experience (QBE) with a proven track record., • Multitasked: Someone who is happy to pivot between technical repairs and general warehouse duties/cleaning., • Forklift Competent: Experience and/or a valid license in forklift truck driving is essential., • Adaptable: With multiple warehouses of stock, you need to be organized and capable of working independently and able to manage your time., • Driver: A full UK driving license is required for site deliveries., • Uniform and PPE provided, • Paid overtime, • Free onsite Parking, • Use of company vehicle when required for deliveries If you have a "can-do" attitude and the technical skills to match, we want to hear from you.
