Warehouse Operative We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join our team at our Rochdale site with an immediate start available. While there is a possibility that the assignment could be extended beyond September, this cannot be guaranteed. The Role This is a hands-on warehouse position where the primary responsibility will be order picking. You will also support the packing operation and assist our machine operator, receiving full training on the machinery as required. Key Responsibilities Accurately pick customer orders. Pack products safely and efficiently for dispatch. Assist the machine operator with day-to-day production tasks. Work safely around warehouse machinery and follow all health and safety procedures. Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient working environment. Support the wider warehouse team as required. What We're Looking For Previous order-picking experience is essential. Experience working in a warehouse environment. Comfortable working in a hands-on role alongside machinery. Willingness to learn and be trained on machine operation. Good attention to detail and accuracy. Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team. Hours and Overtime Monday to Friday, 08:00-16:00. Overtime will be available during busy periods, including some weekend work

Recruitment Consultant (Temporary Desk – Industrial Sector) Rochdale | Full 360 Role | £28-32k Basic + Uncapped Commission Are you an experienced Temp-focused Recruitment Consultant who thrives in a full 360 role and genuinely enjoys building relationships with both clients and candidates? Meridian Business Support is recruiting for a Recruitment Consultant to join our successful and growing branch based in Rochdale, supporting a busy temporary desk with a strong focus on industrial, logistics, warehousing and manufacturing roles across the Rochdale area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys running their own desk, developing new business and delivering a high-volume, high-quality temp solution. The Role This is a permanent, full-time position, working Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm. You’ll manage the complete 360 recruitment lifecycle, working closely with the Branch Manager and wider team to grow and maintain a profitable temporary desk. Key responsibilities include: Sourcing and placing candidates into temporary assignments across industrial and logistics environments Managing all branch enquiries via phone and email from both clients and candidates Weekly payroll responsibility for 40+ temporary workers Writing and posting engaging job adverts across job boards and internal platforms Conducting telephone screens, face-to-face and WhatsApp video registrations Building and maintaining strong client relationships through regular contact and on-site visits Negotiating rates and terms with both clients and candidates Generating new business using sales, business development, marketing and networking techniques Identifying leads and converting them into sales opportunities Arranging and attending client meetings to present Meridian’s recruitment solutions Keeping CRM records fully up to date and compliant Understanding market trends, margins and competitor activity to maximise performance Achieving KPIs and contributing positively to the wider branch successYour own transport is essential due to regular client visits.
