We are looking for a compassionate and driven Deputy Home Manager to join our 5-bed childrens Home in Farnborough to support the Registered Manager to deliver outstanding care to our young people, ensuring the home provides a safe, stable and nurturing environment where young people feel supported and valued. For over 30 years, we have delivered specialist residential care, education and therapy for young males aged 11-18 who have experienced significant trauma and displayed harmful sexual behaviour. Our work focuses on reducing risk, addressing complex needs and empowering young people to move forward into safe, responsible and fulfilling adult lives. As a Deputy Home Manager you will: • Support with the day-to-day running of the home, • Ensure high standards of care, safeguarding and compliance, • Support, supervise and develop the staff team, • Promote trauma-informed and therapeutic approaches, • Act as a positive role model for young people, • Support young people achieve personal goals and independence, • Level 3 or 4 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent e.g. Social Work Degree), • Level 5 Leadership and Management Diploma (or willingness to work towards), • Previous experience working with children and young people in residential settings, • Experience in a senior role/deputy position with managerial responsibilities, • Strong understanding of safeguarding and trauma-informed care, • Fully funded training - NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management.
