This role will suit someone practical, safety‑focused and motivated to develop their skills - with scope to grow into more senior operational or supervisory responsibilities over time.\n\nYou’ll be joining a high‑performing nightshift operation where teamwork, pride in the job and doing things the right way are essential.\n\nHours: 42 hours per week\nShift pattern: 12-hour shift working 4 on / 4 off (7pm - 7am) including weekends\nLocation: Cross Green Asphalt Plant, Leeds (easily accessible from Leeds and surrounding areas)\n\nThe Role\n\nReporting to the Nightshift Supervisor, the Multi Skilled Operative(Nightshift) plays a key role in the production of asphalt and aggregates for the construction industry, while maintaining best‑in‑class Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality standards.\n\nKey responsibilities include:\n\nOperating the onsite asphalt plant to produce a range of asphalt products\nSupporting plant efficiency and optimisation during evening/nightshift operations\nWorking with aggregates and operating mobile plant machinery\nCarrying out day‑to‑day maintenance and maintaining excellent housekeeping standards\nPromoting a strong zero‑harm safety culture and behavioural safety\nEnsuring awareness and compliance with Health and Safety controls across site\n\nAbout You\n\nYou’ll have experience working within an industrial, factory or production environment and enjoy being part of a multi‑skilled operational team.
