    We’re looking for a talented Afro-Caribbean Hair Stylist to join our salon family! We need someone who loves creating fresh, stunning looks—from protective styles and braids to crochet, weaves, and locs. If you take pride in enhancing natural beauty and love making clients look and feel amazing, you’ll fit right in. Duties • Provide a full range of Afro-Caribbean hair styling services, • Perform hair washes, treatments, blow-dry, and straightening, • Offer additional advice and guidance on caring for Afro-textured hair, • Engage with clients to understand their preferences and provide tailored recommendations., • Upsell products and services to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue., • Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitised and ready for use. Experience • Demonstrable experience with braiding, particularly of Afro-textured hair, • Experience with weave, crochet, pick & drop, wigs, and other non-braid styles, • Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients., • Personal style and appearance that elevates the salon environment, • Proficiency in cutting Afro-textured hair is highly desirable., • Familiarity with proper care for Afro hair is highly desirable., • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and team members., • A passion for the beauty industry and staying updated on the latest styles, trends, and techniques. In this role you will work a Monday to Friday days shift with multiple opportunities to maximise earning through over time which is paid at a higher rate. You will be responsible for the inspection, service, maintenance and installation of lifting equipment, Cranes and the like, as well as load testing and carrying out inspections.
