Duties Assisting with the installation and repair of fencing structures on-site Handling and manoeuvring fencing materials, including panels, posts, and gravel boards Using hand tools and power tools safely to cut, fix, and secure fencing components Preparing work areas by clearing debris and setting up safety barriers Supporting with site organisation, including material deliveries and storage Assisting tradespeople with specialised tasks such as carpentry, masonry, or fabrication as required Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations at all times Requirements Valid CSCS Card essential for site access and compliance Valid UTR number for CIS purposes Prior experience in fencing or related construction trades preferred but not mandatory; training can be provided for suitable candidates Knowledge of using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively Basic understanding of construction processes such as carpentry, roofing, masonry, or plumbing is advantageous Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift heavy materials when necessary Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment Strong commitment to health & safety standards on siteThis role is ideal for motivated individuals seeking to build a career in construction with opportunities for skill development across multiple trades.
