    About the Role Are you an experienced team leader or supervisor, looking for a new challenge? We're looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our wonderful charity based in Lacock, Wiltshire, where your organisational skills and proactive approach will make a crucial contribution to selling our donated items. Helping the Scrapstore with stock in and out and ensuring all areas have what they need. You will react to fast changing situations quickly and positively by creating a safe & productive working environment. Each day is different in this varied, fast paced and hands on role. Due to the volume of collections, deliveries and donations, it is physically demanding, yet most rewarding as you play a part in helping to continue our environmental and charitable impacts. Working as part of a team but also lone working, especially when delivering or collecting materials. What are we looking for? · Ideally, you’ll bring experience as a warehouse or stockroom team leader or supervisor · Stock management experience would be helpful, but is not essential · Motivated, proactive and happy to work as part of a team or independently · Good organisational skills and a supportive approach to leading others · Good interpersonal and communication skills · Experience working with volunteers would be a bonus, but is not essential · Confident working with members of the public, and the ability to maintain good relationships with other Scrapstores and our suppliers · Comfortable working in a practical, hands-on environment where priorities can change · Flexible and able to adapt to the needs of the organisation · Comfortable with regular hands-on manual work, including moving larger items and volumes of stock · Due to the nature of the job, a full driving license is required. To use company vehicles, applicants must be over 25 years of age and have held a full driving licence for a minimum of 2 years for insurance purposes. · Confidence using Microsoft tools is beneficial Who are we? Wiltshire Scrapstore is an award winning environmental and community charity (charity no. 1077193) situated on the outskirts of Lacock. We collect resources that would otherwise go to landfill and then are repurposed for creative activities and projects of all kinds, from arts and crafts to DIY across the county and beyond! Wiltshire Scrapstore headquarters can be found at Bowden Hill, Lacock, and we also have a social enterprise shop, Barty’s Little Eco Shop, in Lacock village itself. At Wiltshire Scrapstore, we love the challenge of giving waste materials a second life. Successful applicants will be appointed subject to satisfactory DBS checks and references.

Louisa Homecare Ltd is looking for compassionate, dependable Community Support Workers / Care Assistants to join our team. We have both full-time and part-time care positions available, making this an opportunity for experienced carers as well as people looking to begin a rewarding career in health and social care. What Will You Be Doing? As a Community Support Worker, you'll visit clients in their own homes and provide support based around their individual needs, choices and routines. Your duties may include: • Supporting clients with personal care while protecting their dignity and privacy, • Assisting with medication in accordance with individual care plans, • Preparing meals and drinks, • Supporting mobility and safe movement around the home, • Providing companionship and emotional support, • Helping with everyday activities and household tasks, • Encouraging clients to maintain their independence, • Recognising and reporting changes in a client's health or wellbeing, • Maintaining accurate care records, • Communicating with clients, families, carers and the office team Who Are We Looking For? You could already be working as a: • Care Assistant, • Home Care Assistant, • Support Worker, • Domiciliary Care Worker, • Healthcare Assistant, • Community Carer, • Personal Care Assistant Alternatively, you may be completely new to care and looking for a career where your personality and values can make a genuine difference. We're particularly interested in people who are: • Kind, compassionate and respectful, • Reliable and punctual, • Comfortable working independently, • Good communicators, • Patient and understanding, • Able to adapt to different clients and situations, • Committed to delivering person-centred care, • Willing to learn and develop Working in Domiciliary Care Unlike working from one fixed location, home care and domiciliary care involve travelling between clients and supporting different people throughout your working day. You will therefore need: • A full UK driving licence, • Access to a suitable vehicle for work, • The ability to travel between clients, • The right to work in the UK Your working pattern may include mornings, evenings and weekends depending on your agreed availability and contracted hours.
