\n Employee Relations Advisor, Westerham, Kent, £35,000 \n We are seeking an experienced and proactive Employee Relations Advisor to join a collaborative and supportive HR team. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional with strong employee relations experience who enjoys providing practical advice, managing complex cases, and supporting managers to create positive workplace outcomes. \n You will deliver expert, commercially focused guidance on a wide range of employee relations and wellbeing matters, ensuring cases are managed fairly, consistently, and in line with employment legislation and company policy. \n Key Responsibilities \n\n • Manage a varied caseload of employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, absence management, capability, and performance issues.\n, • Provide expert advice and guidance to managers on employee relations best practice and employment legislation\n, • Support managers in handling complex sickness absence cases and health-related capability matters\n, • Coordinate sickness reviews and liaise with Occupational Health providers where appropriate\n, • Facilitate difficult conversations and support the resolution of workplace conflicts\n, • Create and maintain accurate case records, ensuring all documentation is compliant and up to date\n, • Escalate high-risk or complex cases as required\n, • Support organisational change projects, including restructures, TUPE transfers, and redundancy processes\n, • Collaborate with wider People Team colleagues to deliver HR initiatives and projects\n, • Analyse and report on employee relations and wellbeing trends, identifying opportunities for improvement\n, • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of HR policies, procedures, and people practices\n, • Deliver a professional, customer-focused service to managers and employees across the organisation\n\n Key Success Measures \n\n • Effective management of employee relations cases\n, • High-quality case handling with strong compliance and risk management\n, • Development of manager capability and confidence in people management\n, • Positive absence management and wellbeing outcomes\n, • Accurate ER data reporting and insight generation\n\n About You \n To be successful in this role, you will have: \n\n • CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent HR/Employee Relations experience\n, • Previous experience managing a broad range of employee relations cases\n, • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practice\n, • Experience using HR information systems, case management systems, and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel\n, • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities\n, • The ability to build effective working relationships at all levels\n, • A proactive and solutions-focused approach\n\n What's in it for you? \n\n • A varied and rewarding role within a supportive HR team\n, • Exposure to a broad range of employee relations and wellbeing activities\n, • Opportunities for professional development and career progression\n, • A collaborative working environment where your expertise and ideas are valued \n We use generative AI tools to support our candidate screening process.
