Teaching Assistant. We are currently looking to recruit a primary teaching assistant to put forwards for a long term TA position in a medium sized primary school in West Gateshead. The role would be to support in reception on a full time basis. The school itself is friendly, caring and inviting and it has often been remarked about how approachbale the senior leadership team are. To be considered for the role we ask that candidates are qualfied to Level 3 or above in supporting teaching ad learning in schools or equivalent award that qualfies one to support primary education within the UK. We also ask that candidates have recent relevent experience as we will have to seek refernces that cover the last two years of employment. The role itself would be to support the main class teacher in terms of whole class, small groups and occasionally 1:1 reading support for the pupils.
