    As we continue to grow, B-Spoke Roofing is looking for a self-motivated, enthusiastic, experienced Roofer to carry out work in the Scottish Central belt area This role is permanent with a starting salary of £18.00 Per Hour rising to £21.00 after a 3 month probation period and key competencies of the role are met A work vehicle is also supplied along with fuel card A Holiday entitlement of 28 Days As we continue to expand to meet demand there are further opportunities for career progression Criteria for Role: To be successful in the role of Roofer you will be required to have a minimum of 5 years experience or a relevant roofing qualification as well as a Full UK Driving License. Essential Experience in : • Stripping and replacing roof tiles (concrete tiles), • Installing roof membranes, battens, flashings and ridge tiles, • Minor timber and PVC works related to roof line eg :Gutters , fascia , soffit, • Lead work for chimney flashing etc About the role The role of a Roofer is a pivotal role in the business responsible for undertaking re-roofing of various types and sizes of properties to ensure our roofs are installed and to the highest possible standard.     Overview We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting deliveries efficiently and safely to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries. This role requires excellent driving skills, strong organisational abilities, and exceptional communication skills to provide outstanding service to our customers. Previous experience in delivery or commercial driving is highly desirable, and a valid driver’s licence is essential. Duties • Load and unload goods, with care to prevent damage or injury., • Plan delivery routes effectively to optimise efficiency and meet delivery deadlines., • Communicate clearly with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery times and any unforeseen delays., • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery confirmations., • Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly., • Proven experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving roles., • Valid driver’s licence, • Experience with delovery operations or logistics is advantageous., • Strong communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members., • Familiarity with local roads and navigation systems is preferred.     Welder – Fabricator Location: Glasgow (Workshop-based) Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Flexible working options – 4-day week possible) Salary: £33,000 per annum (equivalent to £17.03 per working hour) About the Role We’re looking for a practical, energetic, and fast-working individual with a strong background in fabrication and welding to join our growing team. You’ll mainly work with stainless steel (TIG and some MIG), producing light fabrications for our innovative range of access equipment. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in high-quality workmanship, and values efficiency within a relaxed but professional environment. You’ll be part of a small, friendly team, working alongside two part-time welders and collaborating with other departments when needed. Key Responsibilities • Review fabrication schedules and plan your workload accordingly., • Weld light stainless steel assemblies (primarily TIG)., • Occasionally weld mild steel pallet bases, jigs, and components., • Load completed parts to storage racks for surface treatment., • Operate vibratory polishing machines (loading/unloading)., • Perform light dressing or finishing where required (usually minimal due to laser-cut parts)., • Maintain and operate workshop machinery: lathes, mills, drills, downdraft benches, welding plant, and power tools., • Contribute to a safe, clean, and organised work environment., • (Upcoming) Operate our new robot manipulator for larger fabrications., • (Upcoming) Assist in designing and building our new welding booth and storage layout for improved workflow. About You: • Strong background in fabrication and welding (TIG essential; MIG advantageous)., • Able to work independently and efficiently., • Practical, proactive, and committed to quality., • Comfortable in a small, collaborative team., • Willing to take on varied workshop tasks.
