We’re searching for an experienced, motivated, and highly organised Head Chef (or a sous chef looking to take the next step in their career) with a passion for delivering outstanding food in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. You'll be at the helm of our kitchen operations, ensuring that both food quality and hygiene standards are consistently upheld to the highest level. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives under pressure, remaining calm and efficient during busy periods, while maintaining a positive and collaborative attitude with the team. Key Responsibilities:
Ensure the highest hygiene standards are always adhered to, maintaining a safe and clean kitchen environment
Lead and inspire the kitchen team to deliver top-notch service, even during peak hours
Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations, ensuring quality control, cleanliness, and organisation
Manage stock levels, suppliers, and ordering processes to ensure quality ingredients at the best value
Develop and regularly refresh the menu, creating exciting dishes to attract customers
Ensure all kitchen equipment is well-maintained and arrange repairs as needed
Monitor staff performance, handle any staffing issues, and manage team schedules
Stay up-to-date with culinary trends, incorporating new ideas to keep the menu fresh and exciting
Perform well under pressure and handle the demands of a busy kitchen environment with ease What We Need From You:
Proven experience in kitchen management and leadership in a high-volume setting
Strong commitment to maintaining excellent hygiene standards
Ability to remain calm, organised, and efficient in a busy, high-pressure kitchen
Exceptional communication and organisational skills
Health and safety certifications, with a thorough understanding of food safety regulations
Culinary qualifications are desirable but not essential
