We are looking for an experienced Sous Chef to join our busy kitchen team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in producing high-quality food, and works well as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a professional kitchen and be confident working across all sections of service. Key Responsibilities: • Prepare and cook starters to a consistently high standard., • Cook and prepare sautéed vegetables and side dishes during service., • Assist with the preparation and cooking of grilled meats, chicken, kebabs and skewers., • Ensure all dishes are presented to our restaurant’s standards., • Support the Head Chef with daily kitchen operations., • Maintain excellent food hygiene and health & safety standards., • Help with stock rotation, food preparation and reducing waste., • Keep the kitchen clean, organised and service-ready., • Work efficiently under pressure during busy service periods. Requirements: • Previous experience as a Sous Chef or experienced Chef de Partie in a busy restaurant., • Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, grilling and sautéing., • Experience preparing fresh vegetables, starters and hot side dishes., • Ability to multitask and work quickly without compromising quality., • Positive attitude with excellent teamwork and communication skills., • Reliable, punctual and willing to learn., • Food Hygiene Certificate (preferred but not essential).
