Job Description: Food Technology Teacher – Secondary School (Endon) Location: Endon, Stoke - On - Trent Start Date: ASAP Fixed Term | Long-term | Temp-to-Perm potential Passionate about teaching young people essential life skills? Premier Education is working on behalf of one of our highly regarded partner secondary schools in Endon to recruit a dynamic and skilled Food Technology Teacher for a September start. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and creative teacher to join a high-expectation environment where innovation in the classroom and positive learning outcomes go hand in hand. Essential Requirements: • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (essential), • Proven experience teaching Food Technology to KS3 and KS4, • A strong understanding of the Design & Technology curriculum, • High standards of planning, behaviour management, and pupil progress tracking, • A forward-thinking Stoke-based secondary school committed to raising achievement, • High expectations for student conduct, engagement, and outcomes, • Excellent leadership and pastoral support across departments, • Well-resourced D&T faculty, including practical food rooms and technician support, • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons in Food Preparation and Nutrition, • Prepare pupils for practical assessments and written components of KS4 qualifications, • Promote safe working practices and ensure hygiene, health, and safety standards are upheld, • Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely feedback and interventions, • Collaborate with colleagues across the DT department to develop curriculum content, • A tailored recruitment process that puts your career goals first, • Full interview preparation and feedback from experienced consultants, • Continued support and CPD opportunities through our Teacher Acquisition Program Whether you’re an experienced Food Tech teacher or a recently qualified candidate with the right certification and passion for the subject — we want to hear from you.
