    Job description: Job Overview As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate support and assistance to individuals in need, including the elderly, those with disabilities, and patients requiring specialised care. This position requires a nurturing disposition and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Duties • Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting., • Administer medication as prescribed and monitor patients for any side effects or changes in condition., • Assist with meal preparation and ensure nutritional needs are met., • Support individuals with mobility challenges through safe lifting techniques and the use of mobility aids., • Engage in behaviour management strategies to promote positive interactions and reduce challenging behaviours., • Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance mental well-being., • Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, ensuring hygiene standards are upheld., • Document patient progress and report any concerns to healthcare professionals or family members., • Provide specialised care for individuals with conditions such as dementia or those receiving hospice care. Experience Candidates should possess relevant experience in caregiving or related fields such as nursing homes or childcare settings. Familiarity with dementia care, hospice care, and patient care practices is highly desirable. Skills in behaviour management and medication administration will be advantageous. The ability to perform heavy lifting safely is essential for assisting clients with mobility needs. A caring attitude, patience, and strong communication skills are crucial for success in this role.
