    Job Description: Pia Ristorante, located in West Byfleet, is looking for an experienced and passionate food and beverage server, needed for an Italian family owned restaurant. The ideal candidate will collaborate alongside our restaurant manager and the rest of the team in order to create a smooth and professional service and bringing passion, creativity, and excellence to our new restaurant. Responsibilities: • Greeting customers and showing them to their table, • Preparing tables, ensuring they are clean and fully set throughout the service, • Maintaining knowledge of the menu and available items., • Presenting customers with the menu and taking orders., • Checking the quality of dishes before serving them., • Delivering food and beverages in a timely manner., • Preparing drinks at the bar ready to be served., • To be consistent attending tables and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service., • Ability to take payments., • To be able to handle customer complaints in a professional and friendly manner., • Strictly adhering to food, sanitary, and safety standards consistently throughout the restaurant., • MUST be over 18 due to serving alcohol, • A minimum of 2 year of experience., • Passion for quality food/ Italian cuisine., • Communication skills, capable of working under pressure., • Customer- focused mindset and attention to quality and detail., • Team spirit, humour and dedication., • Knowledge of health and safety regulations., • Experience operating a cash register and ordering systems., • Strong inter-personality and listening skills., • Ability to maintain a positive attitude., • Excellent customer service., • To be flexible, motivated and to be a good team player.     Location: Cobham Hours: 16–42 hours per week (rota-based, including evenings, weekends & sleep-ins) Reporting to: Registered Manager / Deputy Manager / Senior Care Practitioner About the Role We are seeking a compassionate, committed Care Practitioner to join our children’s residential home, supporting children and young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). You will play a vital role in providing a safe, nurturing, and structured environment where children can feel valued, supported, and empowered to achieve their full potential. This role is central to delivering high-quality, child-centred care in line with Ofsted regulations, the Children Act 1989, and Every Child Matters. Key Responsibilities As a Care Practitioner, you will: • Provide high-quality physical, emotional, social, and cultural care tailored to each child’s individual needs, • Promote independence and life skills such as communication, self-care, cooking, and daily routines, • Build positive, trusting relationships and act as a consistent, positive role model, • Support children through challenging behaviours using calm, trauma-informed approaches, • Safeguard children at all times and maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming home environment, • Monitor health, wellbeing, behaviour, and development, reporting concerns appropriately, • Assist with medication administration in line with policies and training, • Support education, leisure, and community-based activities, • Maintain accurate records and contribute to reports, reviews, and care planning meetings, • Advocate for children and actively involve them in decisions about their lives and futures, • Work collaboratively with families, social workers, teachers, and other professionals Working as Part of a Team You will be expected to: • Contribute positively to team meetings, supervision, and appraisals, • Work consistently with colleagues to implement care plans, • Support team development and provide informal support to colleagues when needed, • Adhere to all policies, procedures, and the home’s Statement of Purpose, • Uphold professional standards, including whistleblowing responsibilities Personal Development We are committed to your growth and development.
