We’re looking for someone who: • Process accurate and timely payrolls for Kingdom One and multiple ministry partners, including regular payroll cycles, off-cycle payrolls, and payroll adjustments., • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, tax, and wage and hour regulations., • Administer payroll deductions, benefit integrations, garnishments, tax reporting, and year-end payroll activities., • Research, troubleshoot, and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee payroll inquiries with a high level of customer service., • Support payroll system implementations, upgrades, process improvements, and HRIS transitions., • Maintain payroll records, reporting, and data integrity across payroll systems., • Support HR functions related to payroll, including onboarding, offboarding, employee data management, compensation changes, and leave administration., • Partner with HR teams and ministry leaders to ensure accurate employee records, classifications, and pay practices., • Assist with HR compliance initiatives, audits, reporting, and documentation., • Provide training and support to internal teams and ministry partners on payroll and HR systems, processes, and best practices., • Maintain current knowledge of payroll regulations, employment laws, and HR compliance requirements., • Serve as a trusted payroll and HR resource for multiple ministry partners, delivering exceptional service and building strong relationships., • Assess ministry payroll and HR processes and recommend best-practice solutions to improve efficiency, compliance, and employee experience., • Participate in ministry consulting projects, including payroll audits, HR assessments, compliance reviews, and process improvement initiatives., • Collaborate with team members to support the growth, development, and continuous improvement of Kingdom One's Payroll Service Line., • Contribute to cross-functional projects and organizational initiatives that support Kingdom One's mission and ministry partners., • Participate in team meetings, training, and professional development opportunities., • Support special projects and perform other duties as assigned. Requirements: Our ideal candidate: • 5 to 10 years of experience in payroll processing, with demonstrated HR Generalist experience., • Experience in a non-profit organization, religious church, camp, or school preferred., • Strong working knowledge of payroll best practices, wage and hour laws, and employment regulations., • Experience with Payroll & HRIS systems (e.g., Paylocity, Paychex, Paycom, ADP)., • Solid understanding of HR fundamentals including employee records, onboarding/offboarding, and compensation practices., • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills., • Proficient in MS Office or G-Suite systems., • High School diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred. Physical Requirements: May sit for extended periods of time with limited walking, standing, stooping, or bending. May occasionally lift or move up to 15 lbs.
