We are seeking a Project Coordinator to join our construction team. In this role you will provide critical administrative, logistical and clerical support to the construction, permitting and project management teams. You will ensure smooth internal workflows, accurate recordkeeping and effective communication between field and office personnel. This position requires someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and can manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism. Why TAK? • Full Time, • Paid Bi-Weekly, • Compensation: $75 - $85K annually, DOE, • Full Benefits Package (Medical, Dental & Vision), • Paid Time Off, • 401(k) with Company Match!, • 25K Company Paid Life Insurance, • Independent Work & Team Collaboration, • Serve as the primary point of contact for administrative support within the construction office., • Manage document control for construction projects: upload, track, and organize permits, site photos, invoices, and closeout packages, invoicing in client systems, T&E backup, • Support the team by submitting applications, tracking permit statuses, pre-construction meetings, USA’s, trench inspections, final inspections, and maintaining up-to-date records with cities and agencies, • Process subcontractor paperwork, • Assist with invoice coding, timesheet collection, expense reports, and job costing documentation., • Maintain databases, spreadsheets, and shared platforms (e.g., Sitetracker, Procore, Google Drive, Smartsheet), • Coordinate with vendors for material orders, deliveries, and PO (purchase order) tracking, • Schedule meetings, field crew logistics, and travel arrangements when needed, • Greet office visitors, answer phones, and direct inquiries to appropriate team members, • Assist with compliance tracking (e.g., safety certifications, contractor license renewals, prevailing wage documentation), • Other duties as assignedRequirements:, • 2+ years of experience in a construction, engineering, telecom, or utility environment, • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and project management platforms (e.g., Procore, Sitetracker, Smartsheet), • Familiarity with construction documentation, invoicing workflows, and permitting processes, • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines, • Comfortable working with field personnel, contractors, and city/agency contacts, • Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism in all interactions, • Experience in the telecommunications or fiber construction industry preferred, • Familiarity with California permitting agencies and city portals a plus, • Knowledge of prevailing wage tracking or union documentation requirements a plus, • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus, • Must provide a valid government-issued photo ID for verification; a driver’s license is required if the role involves driving, • Passing of all pre-employment requirements (MVR, Background Check, Drug Screen) The compensation and benefits information is accurate as of the date of this posting.
