The FTZ Administrator will design and implement FTZ processes, integrate software systems, oversee import/export tracking, inventory control, and logistics supervision on the Amarillo campus. This role ensures compliance with U.S. Customs regulations while optimizing cost and operational efficiency across Fermi’s expanding energy and technology supply chain. Position Summary Fermi America is seeking its Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) Administrator to lead the establishment, setup, and operation of the company’s FTZ program in Amarillo, Texas. This foundational role will design and implement all FTZ-related processes and systems—from compliance workflows and control procedures to FTZ software integration with company logistics platforms. The FTZ Administrator will serve as the company’s subject matter expert and primary liaison with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), overseeing compliance, import/export operations, and inventory management. This role will also provide on-site logistical oversight and coordination within the broader Amarillo campus operations. Key Responsibilities Program Establishment & Setup • Lead the activation and establishment of Fermi America’s FTZ in coordination with CBP, the Department of Commerce, and the local grantee., • Design, document, and implement FTZ operational processes, control procedures, and compliance manuals., • Collaborate with IT and Supply Chain teams to select, configure, and implement FTZ software for real-time inventory control and customs reporting., • Ensure ongoing compliance with 19 CFR Part 146 and maintain FTZ status in good standing., • Manage all CBP filings and recordkeeping, including weekly entries, annual reports, and audit responses., • Serve as Fermi’s point of contact with CBP, brokers, freight forwarders, and other government agencies., • Monitor regulatory updates affecting trade and customs programs, ensuring company policies remain current., • File zone admissions, transfers, and removals, and manage quarterly and annual reporting, • Oversee import/export tracking, documentation, and reporting, ensuring accurate customs classification, valuation, and country-of-origin data., • Manage inventory control and reconciliation within the FTZ, ensuring accuracy and traceability across all storage and movement activities., • Coordinate with logistics, procurement, and operations teams to streamline inbound and outbound material flows., • Support on-site logistics planning and supervision for shipments, storage, and handling within the Amarillo campus., • Provide operational leadership and ensure proper documentation and movement control for inbound and outbound materials., • Develop reporting tools and dashboards to track FTZ savings, utilization, and operational metrics., • Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities through process improvement and duty optimization., • Train internal teams on FTZ and trade compliance best practices. POSITION DESCRIPTION Provide psychological services to meet the requirements of 10 CFR 712, Human Reliability Program (referred to as HRP). PanTeXas Deterrence, LLC (PXD) is under contract with the DOE to operate Pantex located near Amarillo, Texas. As the Management and Operating (M&O) contractor for Pantex, PXD has the responsibility for providing necessary psychological services to meet DOE requirements. As part of this responsibility, it is imperative to ensure the availability of a psychologist who can review the psychological qualifications for those individuals covered by the HRP and/or security program and clear them from a psychological standpoint for entry into or to maintain current status in those positions. It is the objective of PXD to assure compliance with all requirements for meeting federal regulation, state regulation and DOE orders to provide psychological service programs at Pantex. Roles and Responsibilities For 10 CFR 712, the psychologist must also be thoroughly familiar with the governing regulation and also be formally approved by DOE within one year of starting. Job responsibilities will include: • Provide psychological review and evaluations, as required, consistent with current standard psychological practices and the governing regulations cited above., • Conduct psychological assessments in an occupational health setting in accordance with 10 CFR 712 utilizing a structured interview survey and/or semi-structured interview process that may include administration of an approved objective personality test.
