Office Assistant for Victorville Office (Part-time) We are seeking a proactive, self-motivated Office Assistant to support administrative operations and inventory control within our office and test facility in Victorville. This part-time role is ideal for someone who takes initiative, learns quickly, and can complete tasks with minimal explanation. The position also requires running local errands, so the ability to drive and maintain a valid drivers license is essential. A successful candidate will be someone who enjoys a mix of office desk work and handson inventory tasks, stays calm when juggling multiple responsibilities, and takes pride in keeping things organized and running efficiently to support teams involved in manufacturing, testing, and quality assurance, Key Responsibilities: Office & Administrative Support • Perform data entry, filing, scanning, and document control in accordance with aerospace documentation standards, • Sign for and distribute UPS/FedEx or similarly delivered packages., • Support purchasing, engineering, and production teams with administrative tasks, • Prepare spreadsheets, reports, and internal communications, • Manage office supplies and coordinate with vendors as needed, • Answer phones, route inquiries, and support internal communication flow, • Support staff in assigned projectbased work, • Identify needs or issues proactively and resolve them without waiting for direction, • Run local errands such as picking up supplies, delivering documents, or supporting operational needs Inventory & Materials Support • Receive, label, and organize aerospace components, hardware, and materials, • Update inventory management systems (ERP/MRP) with accurate part numbers, lot numbers, and traceability data, • Assist with cycle counts, stock audits, and reconciliation of discrepancies, • Prepare kits for production or engineering teams, • Support shipping and receiving activities, including packaging, labeling, and documentation, • Follow aerospace quality and safety standards (e.g., AS9100), • Anticipate inventory needs and take action before shortages or delays occur Qualifications: Required Qualifications • High school diploma or GED required., • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and documentation discipline, • Selfstarter with the ability to work independently and complete tasks with minimal instruction, • Basic computer skills: Experience with email systems, and office software, such as MS Office Suite; experience with ERP/MRP systems is a plus, • Ability to follow strict procedures and maintain traceability records, • Good communication and organizational skills, • Ability to work well either alone or as part of a team, • Ability to lift and move light to moderate materials or boxes, • Valid drivers license and ability to drive for company errands, • Prior experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or a regulated industry is preferred but not required Preferred Qualifications: • Experience in the Aerospace Industry or Manufacturing Industry, • Experience with SharePoint for document management or team collaboration Employment Criteria: To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
