Job Description The Logistics Manager is responsible for full ensuring the accurate and on-time delivery of merchandise domestically and internationally utilizing package delivery companies, full truck load, LTL, custom courier, and air courier shipments. This role involves close coordination with our production team, warehouse teams, vendors, artist management, and carriers to guarantee that every shipment arrives as scheduled. This role resolves challenges swiftly and effectively. This role must be available, on occasion, outside of standard working hours to address time-sensitive logistics matters. Requirements: Responsibilities and Accountabilities • Responsible for creating or coordinating all domestic and international shipments and ensuring that they arrive on time using the most cost-effective method (this may include intercepting shipments and correcting shipping exceptions after-hours or over the weekend), • Responsible for providing shipping options and quotes as needed and works with Production, Warehouse Operations, Account Managers, and shops to determine the best shipping method for the client., • Responsible for working with brokers to set up, track and review Full Truck Load, LTL, custom courier, and air courier shipments, • Responsible for creating all required paperwork for shipments including customs documentation, declarations, commercial invoices, etc., • Responsible for verifying shipment deliveries and resolve any shipping issues., • Responsible for coordinating couriers, pickups, and other shipping/delivery needs., • Responsible for reporting accurate shipping costs for billing and verifying invoices accuracy and update as necessary. Work with shop on any discrepancies, • Deep understanding and appreciation of the importance that timely deliveries play in the touring industry, • Proven experience in logistics (3+ years), • Experience in coordinating Less-than-truckload (LTL) and Full Truckload shipments, • Experience and strong understanding of the service options and selecting the proper services for shipments via package delivery companies (e.g. FedEx, UPS)., • Experience, strong understanding, and ability to facilitate international shipments globally., • Exceptionally organized and proactive, with the ability to excel in fast-paced, high-pressure environments, • Strong communication skills, effective problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to follow-through, • Knowledge of domestic and international shipping procedures and requirements., • Strong time management / organizational skills., • Strong understanding of basic business principles., • Appreciation for sales and ability to fully assist Sales Reps to create quality products for on-time delivery., • Ability to utilize complex computer software., • Strong interpersonal / verbal communication skills., • Superior attention to detail. This position will work in our Nashville, Tennessee offices and is eligible for the current, standard company benefit program.
