Job DescriptionJob Title: Technologist - Podiatry Job Description Join our team as a Podiatry Technologist, where you will be responsible for updating patient information in the Athena EMR system and providing exceptional bedside care. This role is primarily focused on outpatient, orthopedic, podiatry, and physical therapy cases, and involves using the Care Flow scheduling system. Responsibilities • Update patient information in Athena EMR system., • Provide good bedside care to the patients and explain procedures to them., • Clarify and follow doctor’s orders and scan needed information into PACS., • Maintain room cleanliness after exams and procedures., • Obtain patient information/chart notes for fluoroscopy procedures., • Demonstrate knowledge and compliance with safety, OSHA, and HIPAA regulations., • Perform daily, monthly, semi-annual, and annual Quality Control.Essential Skills, • ARRT certification., • BLS certification., • Good bedside manner and ability to handle high volume daily., • Medical Assisting experience.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Experience in Athena or other EMR systems is a plus., • Fluoroscopy experience is a plus.Work Environment Work alongside three other techs in a collaborative environment owned by Village MD and Walgreens. The doctors are excellent, and the team works well together, offering plenty of opportunities for internal advancement. The office is expanding and adding new doctors, providing room for career growth and training in other modalities. Typical patient flow involves doctors seeing 25 patients a day, with 7-20 scans daily. The initial schedule includes 34 hours a week, with additional hours as the office grows. Work hours are Monday 12:30-5/5:30, Tuesday 12:30-4:30, Wednesday 8am-12:30, Thursday 8am-5pm, and two Saturdays a month for 4 hours in New Providence. Fridays are currently off but will include hours as the office expands. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Linden, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $39.00 - $44.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
