Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: RDN - Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, • Discipline: Allied Health Professional, • Start Date: 01/26/2026, • Duration: 12 weeks, • 37 hours per week, • Shift: 8 hours, days, • Employment Type: Travel Job Title: Dietitian Location: New York, NY 10029 Job Duration: 13 Weeks (Contract) Shift: Day Shift – 5 × 7.5-hour shifts Schedule: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Hours per Week: 37.5 Required Qualifications \t • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.\t, • Minimum of 2 years of experience, including completion of a dietetic internship.\t, • Familiarity with inborn errors of metabolism and/or pediatric nutrition.\t, • Strong attention to detail.\t, • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.\t, • Accurate nutrient calculations and data analysis skills.\t, • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.\t Under the direction of the Director of Clinical Nutrition, the Dietitian provides high-quality nutrition care and education to patients and their families. This role involves assessing nutritional status, developing and implementing appropriate nutrition therapy, and supporting patient-focused care within assigned units while adhering to hospital and departmental standards, policies, and procedures. Key Responsibilities \t • Evaluate patients' nutritional status by reviewing electronic medical records and collaborating with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.\t, • Apply nutrition screening and assessment principles to determine patient-specific nutritional needs.\t, • Document all pertinent findings in the medical record in accordance with policy.\t, • Provide nutrition counseling to patients and family members as appropriate.\t, • Develop, evaluate, and modify nutrition care plans based on patient response and clinical judgment.\t, • Assess and recommend enteral and parenteral nutrition support as needed.\t, • Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.\t, • Assist with discharge planning when required.\t, • Precept dietetic interns, provide instruction, and contribute to student evaluations.\t Founded in 2015, HonorVet Technologies stands as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), proudly certified by NaVOBA and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
