Oral Surgeon Nuvia Dental Implant Center is looking for a skilled Oral Surgeon to join our traveling regional team to help in our quest to redefine dental implant excellence. Nuvia is using cutting edge technology and processes to deliver permanent teeth in 24 hours. Combined experience of well over 10,000 cases Collaboration with internal network of other Surgeons • Peer to peer case reviews and mentorship, • Oral Surgeon owned company. Typical surgical hours and days are Monday-Thursday starting at 7am Open to 1-4 days a week depending on the need 1099 contractor position Education/Experience/Licensure: • Graduation from a U.S. accredited four year dental school (DDS/DMD) required, • Post-graduate of a U.S. surgical program with certificate to practice Oral Surgery, • Unrestricted license to practice dentistry in assigned region, or the ability to apply, • DEA registration, • Current CPR (BLS) from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross, • Ability to obtain and maintain Professional malpractice insurance, • Perform dental implant surgery including the extraction of teeth and alveolectomy as necessary, • Work in close collaboration with the restorative doctor to aid in treatment planning cases for optimal outcomes, • Examine, diagnose and provide treatment plans to patients in a comprehensive manner, • Punctual arrival at the Center for surgical prep, • Review your patients’ health history, radiographs and treatment plan, • Perform exceptional surgery in a team setting, • Dictate comprehensive notes, • Collaborate with the team on upcoming cases The biggest challenge of this position is establishing clinical expectations that are reasonable and surgically sound. Job Description Nuvia Dental Implant Center, a growing full arch dental implant center, is looking for a skilled CRNA to join our team at our office in Westbury, NY. We provide implants and full mouth restorations to our patients, providing life changing procedures. Our top priority is the satisfaction and well-being of our patients. We take immense pride in the life-changing dental implant treatments we provide, and nothing brings us more joy than witnessing the positive impact it has on our patients’ lives. This position is PRN Hourly rate starts at: $275/hour, negotiable based on market At Nuvia, our CRNAs are efficient with their time, self motivated and always put the patients safety as the top priority. An ideal candidate has experience with practicing independently and with nasal intubations, however, we are willing to train the right candidate. Our CRNAs are respected leaders in the Center, which has a positive, engaging culture. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to work autonomously in partnership with the Oral Surgeon. Details: • Great work life balance, • Providing vacation coverage, • No Nights/Weekends/Call/Holidays, • Independent practice, 1099, • 100% autonomy; solo practice, • All CRNA Practice, • Two years experience practicing as a CRNA., • One year experience practicing independently as a solo provider, • Recent experience providing general anesthesia, • Proficient in nasal intubations, • Experience with dental anesthesia, • Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program, • Valid certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA), • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN), • Current state licensure as an APRN, • Current ACLS and BLS from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross., • Administer general anesthesia with a nasal intubation for full mouth dental implants in an office based setting, • Collaborate with surgeons and dentists to optimize, develop and implement anesthesia plans, • Ensure safe and effective delivery of anesthesia by following established protocols and guidelines, • Perform pre-operative assessments and provide education to patients regarding options and potential risks, • Maintain accurate documentation of anesthesia administration, patient responses and any adverse events, • Stay up to date with evidence-based research in anesthesia techniques, medications and equipment Success in this position is defined by delivering safe, consistent anesthesia to every single patient. Effective communication, with all parties involved, is crucial for the success of our Centers.
