The ideal candidate will possess a strong attention to detail in landscape design, be self-motivated, organized, and capable of adhering to deadlines. A minimum of one year of relevant work experience is required. Position Responsibilities: • Developing base maps and site analysis., • Prepares Landscape and Hardscape designs for prospective and existing clients., • Unveiling and presenting design to clients., • Ordering and acquiring materials., • Coordination of project installation with the project leader., • On site Layout., • Client Correspondence., • Manages assigned accounts., • Increase sales in respective accounts., • Represent the company at networking and public relations functionsKnowledge and Experience Requirements:, • This position requires a degree in Landscape Design, Horticulture or Architecture., • Knowledge of botanical nomenclature, proper plant selection, and plant characteristics., • Full knowledge of hardscaping materials and constructional techniques for interlocking pavers, masonry and segmental retaining walls, wet and dry-laid natural stone, stone and brick veneer, garden structures, water features, and low-voltage lighting., • Understanding site elevations and proper surface-water drainage techniques., • A valid NJ Driver’s License and must be able to pass a drug test., • The ability to use Dynascape, PRO Landscape and Sketch Up., • Excellent oral and written communication skills., • Well-developed presentation skills., • Excellent customer relations skills., • Demonstrates effective negotiation and closing techniques., • Strong analysis and judgment skills., • Works well in a team environment., • Good planning and organizational skills., • Professional appearance and manner.
