Job Description Game Day Operator Brodie Rec. League™ Type: Permanent part-time Location: Long Island | Nassau County | Suffolk County Salary: $17 /USD Hourly Reports To: League Manager COMPANY OVERVIEW 50,000 athletes. 30+ locations. Millions of views. Brodie League is more than a basketball league, it’s a community. As one of North America’s fastest-growing sports brands, Brodie League is redefining adult recreational basketball by delivering an elevated, professional-quality experience rooted in culture, competition, and community. Our mission is to make every league night the best night of the week for our athletes. ROLE OVERVIEW The Game Day Operator runs the court and owns the welcome. On game night you run the score, the clock and the BallerTV stream, and you are the person athletes see when they walk in, between games and on their way out. Your Game Day Lead sets your seat each night: the score table, check-in, or the floor helping set the gym. Whatever the seat, the job is the same: every game accurate, on time and on stream, and every athlete leaving feeling the night was built for them. Your League Manager hires, schedules and develops you, and your Game Day Lead trains you and leads you on the floor. Run a court to the Brodie Standard and this role is a path into floor leadership. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES Run the score table. Keep the score and the clock accurate on the scoreboard, the BallerTV iPad and the scoresheet. Reset the shot clock to 24 or 14, record team fouls and timeouts, manage the possession arrow, sound the horn on every substitution the referees signal, and apply the timing rules. Get every jersey number right; if one is unclear, ask the player. Set up and run the stream. Set up BallerTV on your court before the first tip-off and have it live two minutes before tip. Check that it is live at tip-off and at every halftime, keep it running to the final buzzer, and watch battery and framing all game. When it drops, pause the game and work the fix; if it is not back in about 30 seconds, call your Game Day Lead. Own the welcome. When you are on check-in, greet every athlete, check them in quickly, hand out jerseys and answer questions about schedules, standings and rules. At the table, stand up and greet both teams before, between and after every game, know each captain by name, and use halftime and the breaks between games to talk with players and fans. Nobody gets skipped. Point drop-in players and spectators to your League Manager, who introduces every drop-in and talks to them about joining a team. Keep every game fair and on time. Give every team at least five minutes of warm-up and start every game on time, never early. Check the scoresheet for overdue balances and for players who are not on the roster. When you see one, that player does not check in: tell the referees so the game keeps moving, and call your Game Day Lead. Forfeit and roster calls are made by your League Manager, or by your Game Day Lead when the League Manager is off site, never at the table. Set the gym and break it down. Arrive at your venue's call time and help set the gym to the site map with your crew: courts, score tables, check-in and brand fixtures, as your Game Day Lead assigns. At the end of the night, return all equipment and completed scoresheets, clear your court, take down and store banners, and confirm with your Game Day Lead before you clock out. Take the seat the night needs. Move between the score table, check-in and the floor as your Game Day Lead rotates the crew, including on forfeits and no-shows, so every court is covered and the door is never empty. Spot it early and call it fast. Stay calm when a night goes sideways. Stop the clock and call your Game Day Lead for a disputed score, an equipment failure, an ejection or a player who is not on the scoresheet. For injuries, fights and emergencies, stop the game and get your League Manager right away. The scoresheet is the official record. Hold the Brodie Standard. Full Brodie uniform, on time, walkie on. Stay neutral during play, keep only water at the table, and keep your personal phone away except to check that the stream is live. Complete your training, shadow shift and certification before your first solo shift, and take feedback from your Game Day Lead on the spot. REQUIREMENTS Experience in a customer-facing, fast-paced setting such as hospitality, retail, events, fitness or rec sports. Scorekeeping, timekeeping, refereeing or event staffing experience is a strong asset. A real relationship with basketball: you have played, coached, refereed, kept score or organized, and you know the game well enough to follow a call and answer a rules question. Accuracy under pressure. You can keep a clock, a scoresheet and a stream right through a close game, and stay neutral when players push back. Outgoing and comfortable starting a conversation with someone you have never met. You stand up, say hello and remember names. Comfortable with tech, including tablets, phones and streaming apps, and you troubleshoot before you call for help. Available for game nights at your venue (roughly 6pm to midnight, including weekends), on site for the full shift, with reliable transportation. COMPENSATION DISCLOSURE The expected hourly compensation range for this role is $17 USD per hour. Compensation is based on skills, experience, qualifications, internal equity, and business needs. The compensation range may be adjusted in the future. Job Description Game Day Lead Brodie Rec. League™ Type: Permanent part-time Location: Freeport, NY Salary: $22 – $28 USD Hourly (varies by market) Reports To: League Manager COMPANY OVERVIEW 50,000 athletes. ROLE OVERVIEW The Game Day Lead runs the floor so the League Manager can run the league. On game night, you own the operation: the gym is set to the site map, every stream is live, every role is covered, and every staffer is working to the Brodie Standard. That frees your League Manager to spend the night with captains, players and fans, building the relationships that fill the gym next season. Your main job is to manage the floor. You teach your crew the job, check that it's done to the Brodie Standard, and lift their performance every night. When something goes wrong, you coach the person who owns it to fix it instead of stepping in and fixing it yourself. On a great night, your crew ran everything and you never had to touch a cable. When your League Manager is off-site, authority falls to you on league night operations, including connecting with drop-in athletes, ensuring they have a great experience, and converting them to league night athletes. You report to the League Manager. This role is a direct path to League Manager. Every game runs on time because of you! Interested? Read on! CORE RESPONSIBILITIES Own the gym setup. Arrive before the first game and set the gym to the site map with your crew: courts, scorer's tables, check-in and brand fixtures. Give every task to a named staffer, check it against the setup checklist, and sign off before the Launch Meeting. Run breakdown the same way: equipment counted, fixtures packed and the gym left the way the venue expects it. Keep every court live. Your Game Day Operators set up BallerTV on every court. You check that every stream is live before the first tip-off and keep checking through the night. When one drops, get your Game Day Operator to bring it back up fast, and log it. Make sure every Game Day Operator knows how to set up and troubleshoot the stream, so it never depends on one person. Run the crew on the floor. Assign roles and rotations for every Game Day Operator, Referee, Athlete Highlight Specialist and media staffer on your nights, typically 5-20 people depending on the venue. Redeploy staff on forfeits and no-shows, and keep check-in staffed and moving. Handle overdue balances before athletes play, and escalate to your League Manager when it isn't an easy fix. Keep every game starting on time, and if a game is going to start late, your League Manager hears it from you before it happens. Take charge when your League Manager is off site. Whenever your League Manager isn't on site, you're in charge of the night and the crew. Make the forfeit call when a team doesn't show, send idle staff home so we only pay for the crew the night needs, and keep every game starting on time. Repeat performance issues still go to your League Manager, documented, so they can make the call. Teach the job, don't just do it. Show it, watch them do it, then check it. Hold the standard in the moment (uniform, positions, focus, branding, phones away). Coach on the spot when a mistake happens twice, and document it and escalate to your League Manager the third time. Give every staffer specific feedback each night, and run shadow shifts for new crew. Close out the night. Complete scoresheets and photo verification and hand them to your League Manager so reporting lands within 4 hours of the final game. Confirm the night's staff hours match who actually worked. Before you leave, send a short end-of-night crew report: who performed, who slipped, what broke and what you fixed. Protect your League Manager's time. You are the first stop for every operational question from crew and venue staff. Settle disputes your crew brings you first, and only pull your League Manager off the floor for disputes you can't settle, injuries, venue conflicts or captain complaints, so they can spend the night with athletes and fans growing the league. REQUIREMENTS 1+ year leading or supervising people in events, hospitality, retail, fitness or sports operations, such as a shift lead, supervisor or head coach. You've taught someone a task and held them to it, and you know how to upsell or ask for the sale. Comfortable with tech setup (cameras, laptops, Wi-Fi, streaming apps) and you troubleshoot before you call for help. Calm under pressure. You can correct someone directly without making it personal. Available every game night at your location (roughly 6pm to midnight, including weekends) and on site for the full night. A real relationship with basketball: you've played, coached, refereed or organized. Reliable transportation. COMPENSATION DISCLOSURE The expected hourly compensation range for this role is between $22 and $28 USD per hour, depending on market. Compensation is based on skills, experience, qualifications, internal equity, and business needs. The compensation range may be adjusted in the future. Location: Long Island, NY — on-site across Roslyn, Syosset & Commack About Hoop Lab Hoop Lab is a basketball training company focused on helping players develop their skills through high-quality coaching, programming, and training environments. As we grow across Long Island, we're looking for a hands-on operator who can make sure our locations run exceptionally well every day. The Role As our Site Operations & Community Lead, you'll own the day-to-day operations across our Roslyn, Syosset, and Commack locations. This is not a desk job. You'll spend your week across all three locations, making sure facilities are ready, schedules are accurate, operational issues are resolved, parents get answers, and the dozens of small details that keep a growing business running don't fall through the cracks. You'll report to our Head of Operations and work closely with our Basketball Director, who owns the basketball and player-development experience, while you make sure the operations and overall experience surrounding it runs smoothly. We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys being the person others can count on—the person who notices what needs attention, figures out what needs to happen, and closes the loop without needing to be reminded. What You'll Do Support parents and prospective members You'll regularly interact with parents and families - while you’re not the go-to for any inquiry, you will greet new members when they walk in the door, handle escalations, and help coordinate special events like birthdays, guest coach clinics, and more. That could mean having an on-the-spot sales conversation, or troubleshooting a membership issue when a parent approaches you at a location. Own day-to-day operations across three locations You'll split your week across Roslyn, Syosset, and Commack and maintain a regular operating checklist for each location, including facility condition, equipment, supplies, staffing coverage, and schedule accuracy. Keep our facilities running When something breaks, you'll get it fixed. You'll be the first call when there's an operational problem and will own issues through resolution. Build our local presence You'll coordinate local school and league partnerships, sponsorships, open gyms, clinics, and other community activities. You’ll collaborate with your Basketball Director counterpart to make engaging community events happen, you'll own the calendar and, just as importantly, the follow-through required to make these events memorable and buzzworthy. Partner with our basketball team You'll work closely with the Basketball Director on schedules, staffing gaps, and programming. They'll own the basketball product and player development. You'll own the operational environment that allows them and our coaches to deliver it. You Might Be a Great Fit If You... • Are highly organized and naturally keep lists, follow up, and close loops., • Have owned an operation where you were ultimately responsible for making sure things got done., • Don't need a manager physically present to keep you moving., • Are comfortable interacting with parents, coaches, vendors, and kids—sometimes all within the same hour., • Can mentally move between three locations in a day without losing track of what's happening at any of them., • Like solving practical problems and can reprioritize quickly when something unexpected happens., • Are comfortable having sales and membership conversations with prospective and current families., • Have reliable transportation and can regularly travel between our Long Island locations., • Enjoy working with families and kids! Experience in youth sports, camps, boutique fitness, hospitality, retail, or another high-touch consumer business could be especially relevant, but we're more interested in how you operate than where you've worked. This Probably Isn't the Role for You If... You're looking for a traditional desk-based operations position. This is a hands-on role that requires being present in our locations, noticing what needs attention, talking with families and coaches, solving problems, and taking ownership—even when something doesn't fit neatly inside a job description. What Success Looks Like Our locations are organized and ready to operate. Parents get answers. Coaches know what's happening. Facility issues get resolved quickly. Events happen when they're supposed to happen. Details don't fall through the cracks. Most importantly, our basketball team can focus on delivering a great experience for players because you've made sure the operation around them works.

Job Description League Manager Brodie Rec. League™ Type: Full-time Location: New York City, NY Salary: $60,000–$80,000 USD Annually + Bonus + Commission Reports To: District Manager COMPANY OVERVIEW 50,000 athletes. ROLE OVERVIEW The League Manager runs a Brodie location end to end. On game night, you lead a floor crew and are accountable for every game starting on time, on brand and to the Brodie Standard. The rest of the week, you own the work nobody sees: payroll, scheduling, league health, captain communication, and partner on the outreach that fills your gym and keeps it full. You report to a District Manager, who owns your region end to end, and in new or smaller markets you work in partnership with a City Launcher to grow the league while you run it. The people who thrive here have run a team before, hold a standard without being asked, and are the person athletes look for when they walk through the door. Every athlete who laces up is choosing Brodie over everything else they could be doing. You make that choice feel worth it, every single week. You make sure every athlete leaves feeling the night was built for them. Ready to make it happen? Read on! CORE RESPONSIBILITIES Lead your floor crew. Schedule, brief and lead every Scorekeeper, Referee, Athlete Experience Specialist, Athlete Highlight Specialist and media staffer on your nights, typically 10-15 people and up to 20 at our busiest venues. Rotate your crew across seats so every court is covered, redeploy staff when a game forfeits, hold the standard in the moment (uniform, positions, focus, branding), and coach, document and escalate when it slips. Run game night to the Brodie Standard. Set the gym to the site map, run the pre-game Launch Meeting, keep every game starting on time and streaming live, settle disputes on the spot, and close out scoresheets, photo verification and reporting within 4 hours of the final game. Own the athlete experience. Greet every captain and work the room between games. Answer every player and captain message within 24 hours and follow up on every complaint within 48. Hit your retention and growth targets. You carry clear, measurable retention targets: re-signing returning teams, converting players on the floor, and driving referrals and ambassador teams. In new or smaller markets, your performance is weighted more heavily toward growth, and you work in partnership with the City Launcher to bring new teams in and make sure every one of them wants to come back. Personally reach out to captains, lapsed teams and your own network, and log every touch in the CRM. Build and run the season. Schedule the regular season, playoffs and all-star in PlayerOne; place and balance divisions; onboard captains; roster free agents; and manage jerseys, equipment and court bookings so nothing is ever last-minute. Own the admin nobody sees. Review and approve staff timesheets and payroll in Rippling accurately and on time, keep stats and standings correct, and make sure athletes with overdue balances settle up before they play. Roughly half your week is this work, and it matters as much as game night. Run your week without being chased. On non-game days you work independently. Keep your work visible to your District Manager through the CRM, the Season Success Checklist and weekly check-ins, and raise it early, with a plan, when registrations or a night are off track. Build a location that runs without you. Partner with your District Manager to hire, train and develop your crew, create the checklists and handoffs that let a night run on your standard when you are not in the room, and push for more capacity when your location sells out. REQUIREMENTS 3+ years leading people. You have hired, scheduled, corrected and developed a team of 3 or more in restaurants, hospitality, retail, fitness, events or sports operations. You have held others to a standard, not just met one yourself, and you talk about what your team did, not only what you did. Proven ownership of something recurring. A weekly shift, a location, a program or a season that ran on systems rather than your memory. When it went wrong, you owned your part and changed something so it did not happen again. You have the warmth and presence that makes a gym full of athletes feel welcomed and remembered. Having played in a Brodie league, or knowing it well as an athlete, is a strong asset, as is a network in the local basketball or rec sports scene. People leadership is the requirement; presence in the gym is what sets the best apart. A real relationship with basketball and your local community. You have played, coached, refereed, organized or captained. Fully committed to a full-time role. This is a full-time position and your only job. You are available for game nights (roughly 6pm to midnight, multiple nights a week, including weekends), reachable and working roughly 9am to 5pm on non-game weekdays, and on game nights you are working the league, not playing in it. Local and on site. You live in or near the market you run, work on site at your assigned Brodie venue(s) every game night, with reliable transportation to move brand fixtures and equipment, and you join your District Manager and the team at HQ for training and check-ins as required. Comfortable selling and following up. You are energized by outreach, can turn a verbal “we’re in” into a paid registration, and treat logging your activity as part of the job, not bureaucracy. Experience with a CRM, payroll, timesheets or scheduling tools is a strong asset; you adopt new tools (PlayerOne, Rippling, Slack) quickly. COMPENSATION DISCLOSURE The expected annual compensation range for this role is between $60,000 and $80,000 USD. Compensation is based on skills, experience, qualifications, internal equity, and business needs. Additional compensation also includes a bonus (up to $5,000/season) and uncapped commission structure. The compensation range may be adjusted in the future. WHY JOIN BRODIE LEAGUE Highly competitive pay and uncapped commission Growth & mentorship opportunities Professional development budget Paid Time Off (3 weeks + Holiday Shutdown) Paid Sick Leave Play Brodie League for free Opportunity to work for an organization at the intersection of sports, fashion, & tech ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE DISCLOSURE Artificial intelligence may be used in the recruitment and selection process, including to screen, assess, or evaluate applicants. POSITION STATUS This job posting is for: ☐ an existing vacancy at Brodie League X a new position at Brodie League APPLICATION PROCESS Interested candidates should apply by submitting their resume through the designated application platform. COMMITMENT TO INCLUSION We know through experience that different ideas, perspectives, and backgrounds foster stronger and more creative teams. We strive to create organizations that reflect the communities we serve and where everyone feels empowered to bring their full, authentic selves to Brodie Rec Leagues. Compensation Range: $60K - $80K
