Job Title: Social Media Manager Department: eCommerce & Performance Marketing Reports to: Strategic Partnerships Manager Hours Available: M-F 8:30 am-5:30 pm EST (1-hour lunch break) Physical Address: 200 Sea Ln, Farmingdale, NY, 11735 Salary Range: $70,000 - $85,000 (Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law) Grade: 5 Job Summary: The Social Media Manager is responsible for leading BEDGEAR's organic social media strategy, content creation, and community engagement across all major social platforms. This role develops and executes social-first content that showcases BEDGEAR's products, retail presence, innovation, company culture, and customer experiences while driving audience growth, brand awareness, and engagement. Working cross-functionally with Creative, eCommerce & Performance Marketing, Retail Experience & Trade Marketing, Product Development, Strategic Partnerships, and International teams, the Social Media Manager captures compelling stories through photo and video content, manages the brand's organic social presence, and is accountable for achieving key social media performance metrics. Essential Functions (included but not limited to): Organic Social Media Strategy • Develop and execute BEDGEAR's organic social media strategy across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms., • Own the social content calendar, publishing schedule, and platform-specific content strategy., • Monitor industry trends, platform updates, competitive activity, and consumer behavior to continuously evolve content strategies., • Ensure all content reflects BEDGEAR's brand positioning, product messaging, and business priorities., • Partner with Paid Media to maximize the performance of high-performing organic content. Content Creation & Video Production • Serve as BEDGEAR's primary creator of organic social media content., • Capture, edit, and publish high-quality photo and video content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Stories, and emerging video-first platforms., • Plan and execute social-first storytelling around:, • Product launches, • Retail merchandising, • Retail partner visits, • Sleep education, • Product demonstrations, • Company initiatives, • Marketing campaigns, • Innovation, • Produce engaging behind-the-scenes content highlighting product development, manufacturing, testing, and company culture., • Create compelling lifestyle, educational, and product-focused content aligned with marketing campaigns., • Develop recurring social content series that build audience engagement and strengthen brand recognition., • Collaborate with Creative to ensure visual consistency while maintaining platform-native authenticity. Retail & Event Content Creation • Create engaging content from retail floors, merchandising displays, product installations, and showroom environments., • Attend retail partner events, trade shows, market events, product launches, sales meetings, and internal company events to capture real-time content., • Showcase how BEDGEAR products are experienced in retail environments., • Partner with Retail Experience & Trade Marketing and Sales teams to identify ongoing retail storytelling opportunities. Employee Generated Content & Company Culture • Develop and coordinate employee-generated content initiatives that highlight BEDGEAR's people and culture., • Capture stories featuring:, • Manufacturing, • Product Development, • Innovation, • Customer Success, • Sales, • Community involvement, • Company culture, • Encourage participation from teammates while maintaining brand consistency., • Identify authentic storytelling opportunities across all departments. Community Management • Monitor and actively engage with followers across all social platforms., • Respond to comments, direct messages, and community interactions in alignment with BEDGEAR's brand voice., • Escalate customer service concerns through appropriate internal channels., • Foster meaningful engagement with customers, retailers, and brand advocates. UGC & Creator Coordination • Manage BEDGEAR's UGC agency relationships, creative requests, approvals, and deliverables., • Coordinate creator-generated content for use across organic social channels., • Support influencer campaigns by managing content requests, creative assets, publishing coordination, and performance tracking., • Collaborate with the Strategic Partnerships Manager to execute creator campaigns., • Review creator content to ensure alignment with brand standards., • Recommend opportunities to expand BEDGEAR's UGC content library. International Social Media • Collaborate with international distributors and regional marketing partners to strengthen BEDGEAR's global social presence., • Share content resources and best practices to ensure consistent brand messaging across markets., • Evaluate international social performance and recommend opportunities for growth. Analytics & KPI Ownership • Own agreed-upon social media performance metrics including:, • Audience growth, • Engagement rate, • Video views, • Earned reach, • Organic impressions, • Social-driven website traffic, • Content production volume, • Deliver weekly, monthly, and campaign performance reporting., • Analyze platform insights and audience behavior to continuously optimize content strategy., • Conduct ongoing testing of new content formats, posting strategies, and platform capabilities. Cross Functional Collaboration • Partner closely with Creative, eCommerce & Performance Marketing, Paid Media, Retail Experience & Trade Marketing, Product Development, Strategic Partnerships, International, and Sales teams., • Coordinate social media support for integrated marketing campaigns., • Maintain alignment between organic social content and broader brand initiatives. Travel & Event Support • Travel as needed to support social media content creation at:, • Las Vegas Market, • High Point Market, • Retail partner events, • Product launches, • Marketing activations, • Trade shows, • Company meetings, • Community events, • Flex work schedule as needed to capture evening or weekend content opportunities.
