Job Description Job Title: Working Lead Mechanical/Electromechanical Technician Weekend Shift: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday 6AM- 4PM (4x, 10s) Contract- 6 month review with expectation to extend indefinitely We are hiring 2 technicians for our weekend shift preventative maintenance team in McDonough, GA. This is a wet and humid sanitation environment. Service technicians will work as a team and be responsible for executing the preventative maintenance needs for industrial washers and dryers. Some reactive maintenance will be requires. Basic hand tools and work boots required. Pay: $32-34/hr Eligibility to enroll in Health, vision, dental benefits 9-panel & 7 year background check required Expected start: 10/27-11/3 Job Description As a Working Lead Level 2 Mechanical/Electromechanical Technician, you will be responsible for advanced maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and installation of mechanical and electromechanical equipment. This role requires expertise in using test equipment and interpreting mechanical and electrical drawings. It offers a unique opportunity for professional growth in the electromechanical maintenance field and leadership training. Responsibilities • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on mechanical and electromechanical systems to ensure optimal performance., • Conduct detailed inspections and diagnostics to identify potential issues before equipment failure occurs., • Utilize automated CMMS to document maintenance items and schedule future maintenance tasks., • Independently troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical and electromechanical malfunctions., • Repair or replace defective components, including motors, sensors, actuators, and control systems., • Utilize GUI/HMI components to assist in troubleshooting and system correction., • Lead the installation and commissioning of new equipment and machinery, following technical specifications., • Calibrate and test equipment to ensure proper operation and performance., • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, maintaining a safe working environment., • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements., • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including detailed reports on inspections, repairs, and parts usage., • Provide feedback and recommendations to improve equipment reliability and performance., • Assist in training and mentoring Level 1 technicians and new team members., • Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems., • Mechanical and electrical hand tool proficiency., • 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience., • Previous experience leading or supervising others in a maintenance capacity., • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills., • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and engineering drawings., • Advanced proficiency with hand and power tools., • High school diploma or GED equivalent., • Certification or associate degree in mechanical or electromechanical technology preferred., • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a maintenance or technical role. Work Environment Work a shift schedule of Friday through Monday, 4 ten-hour days from 6 AM to 4 PM, with initial training on a day shift from Friday to Monday with training during the regular weekday shift M-F. The work environment includes various conditions such as heights, confined spaces, and outdoor settings. Be prepared for flexible hours, including overtime and weekends as needed. The facility is located in McDonough, GA, 45 minutes southeast of Atlanta. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of McDonough, Georgia. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $34.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
