Job Description About the Role Liberty Moving & Storage is seeking an Assistant Sales Manager & Business Development professional to support sales leadership and expand our referral network through consistent outreach, relationship-building, and follow-up execution. This is a hands-on, field-forward role ideal for someone early in their career who wants exposure to sales strategy, business development, relationship marketing, and light marketing support. You will represent Liberty in the market, open doors for our sales team, attend events, and execute follow-up initiatives that keep Liberty top-of-mind with key partners. This role reports directly to senior leadership and plays a critical part in strengthening Liberty's footprint across our core territories. Key Responsibilities Sales Support & Business Development • Support sales leadership with outreach, appointment setting, and relationship development, • Actively build relationships with:, • Real estate offices and realtor teams, • Realtors tied to shipments Liberty services, • Relocation and move managers, • Property managers, condos, rentals, and doormen/building staff, • Designers, senior living communities, estate services, • Corporate, education, government, and commercial decision-makers, • Book in-office meetings and partner opportunities for Liberty sales representatives, • Maintain an active in-person presence across NYC, Long Island, Westchester, CT, and NJ, • Execute a structured follow-up strategy with partners and prospects using:, • calls, texts, and emails, • LinkedIn and social media engagement, • Ensure every realtor tied to a closing or listing Liberty services is contacted and nurtured, • Assist with:, • social media posting and engagement (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook), • basic reporting and dashboards, • creating simple one-pagers, flyers, and sales materials (Canva/PowerPoint), • Track outreach, meetings, events, and relationship touchpoints, • Maintain a weekly activity report/dashboard, • 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, marketing, or a related field, • Strong communication skills (phone, email, in-person, and social), • Comfortable attending events and representing a brand professionally, • Organized, self-motivated, and execution-oriented, • Basic familiarity with:, • LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, • Google Workspace (or similar tools) Why This Role Matters • Direct impact on sales pipeline growth and brand visibility, • Exposure to sales strategy, partnerships, and business development execution, • Opportunity for growth into a senior business development or sales leadership role, • $60,000–$75,000/year DOE, • Mileage and event expenses covered, • Cell phone cost covered, • Industry experience preferred, not required Job Posted by ApplicantPro
