In addition to general Veterinary Technician responsibilities, duties include, but are not limited to: • Overseeing staff management, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations, • Managing office operations, including inventory control, financial oversight, and compliance with regulations (e.g., DEA, OSHA), • Providing excellent customer service, addressing pet owners' inquiries and resolving complaints promptly, • Coordinating with veterinary staff to ensure efficient clinic operations and high-quality patient care, • Implementing and maintaining hospital policies and procedures, • Marketing the hospital to prospective customers and the veterinary community, • Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring proper use of veterinary terminologyQualifications, • A Licensed Veterinary Technician or Certified Veterinary Practice Manager with a minimum of 1-year of management experience preferred or 3+ years veterinary experience preferred., • Strong leadership, communication, and motivations skills. Has the ability to direct, guide, and assist a group of individuals.
