Job Description SUMMARY The Export Coordinator is responsible for managing all aspects of international shipments of IoT devices and hardware, including documentation, customs compliance, carrier coordination, and communication with internal and external stakeholders. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth logistics operations that align with regulatory requirements and company timelines. CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES • Coordinate international shipments of IoT products, including hardware, kits, and accessories., • Prepare and manage export documentation such as commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, and export declarations., • Ensure compliance with global trade regulations (e.g., EAR, ITAR, Incoterms, and country-specific import/export laws)., • Work closely with logistics providers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to optimize delivery timelines and cost., • Track shipments and proactively communicate status updates or issues to internal teams (Sales, Operations, Customer Support) and customers., • Manage export licenses and maintain records in accordance with U.S. and international export laws., • Collaborate with production and warehouse teams to coordinate inventory and shipping schedules., • Maintain accurate shipping records and support audits or compliance reviews., • Identify opportunities to streamline export processes and reduce shipping errors or delays., • Stay informed about geopolitical events, regulatory changes, and market conditions that could impact global logistics. QUALIFICATIONS • 2+ years of experience in export coordination or international logistics, preferably in a technology or electronics company., • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, International Business, Logistics, or a related field preferred., • Strong understanding of Incoterms, customs documentation, and international shipping regulations., • Familiarity with ERP and logistics management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.)., • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)., • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail., • Excellent written and verbal communication skills., • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment., • Knowledge of U.S. export compliance (EAR, ECCN, etc.)., • Familiarity with global logistics trends in the IoT or tech sector preferred., • Experience with IoT hardware, electronics, or high-tech products, a plus.
