The Scott Varley Real Estate Team is seeking a Director of Operations—or as we like to call it, our Empire Protector—to lead our internal operations, optimize systems, and drive scalable growth. This isn’t just an admin job. This is a leadership role for a systems-obsessed doer who thrives behind the scenes, making magic happen. You’ll be part air traffic controller, part business architect, and part accountability partner—all fueled by heart, grit, and excellence. Compensation: • Base salary: $60,000–$90,000, • Bonus opportunities based on performance, • Paid Time Off, • Own and streamline all backend operations so the sales team can stay focused on production, • Design, implement, and manage internal systems, including CRM, transaction coordination, listing management, client communication, and database management, • Build, refine, and document scalable, repeatable processes across departments to drive consistency and efficiency, • Oversee contract-to-close operations and listing workflows, ensuring consistent quality and timely execution, • Optimize CRM workflows and transaction management processes to enhance productivity and client experience, • Create, improve, and maintain comprehensive SOPs and internal operations manuals that evolve with the business and support consistent system usage, • Lead cross-functional initiatives and coordinate across departments to support team-wide goals, including expansion, • Create and manage systems that drive client testimonials, referrals, and online reviews, • Ensure client experience touches are timely, personal, and aligned with our brand standards, • Build systems and infrastructure that support team growth and increased production volume, • Collaborate with leadership to identify operational gaps and design solutions that enable scalable, sustainable growth, • Anticipate future operational needs as the team grows, ensuring smooth onboarding, communication, and system adoption, • Strengthen internal processes to support increased transaction volume without sacrificing quality or serviceQualifications:, • 3–5+ years of operations, service, or administrative experience (real estate preferred), • Bachelor’s degree preferred, • Proven leadership skills with experience managing people and projects, • Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills, • A passion for systems, structure, and empowering others to succeed, • A strategic thinker and problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, • A calm, collected operator who brings order and structure wherever you go, • A natural implementer with a bias toward action and improvement, • Someone who values excellence, consistency, and team success, • Energized by systematizing processes, scaling operations, and supporting team expansion, • Growth-minded and results-drivenAbout Company With over 30 years of experience and 5,000+ properties sold, the Scott Varley Team is a trusted name in New York State’s Capital Region.
