Job Description JOB SUMMARY: Under the general supervision of the Program Director or designee and the guidelines provided by ICL and the NYS OMH for the Mental Health provides program and administrative oversight for the treatment activities of the Program. The Supervisor is responsible for assigning, monitoring and controlling personnel and fiscal resources to accomplish team, agency and program goals and for evaluating team programs. Establishes and maintains systems to ensure that program operations meet or exceed agency and regulatory guidelines and that documentation and billing conform to all applicable targets, rules and regulations. Responsible for taking complaints of sexual harassment, informing the Human Resources Department of the complaint, and investigating the complaint (as directed)., • Monitors employee accrual totals, approves or recommends approval of employee requests for time off, and notifies the Department of Human Resources when an employee should be placed on or taken off Family and Medical Leave (FMLA). Maintains contact with staff while out on FMLA., • Maintains accountability and serviceability of all ICL property assigned to the program to include vehicles. Reports lost stolen, missing, or damaged property in accordance with ICL policy. Conducts initial investigations of property that is lost, stolen, missing, or damaged., • Ensures internal program compliance with federal, state, city, and agency regulatory requirements. Monitors the quality of the services provided to clients., • Responsible for the development of a program mission statement and program goals that support the division and agency mission statements and goals., • Coordinates with the Quality Assurance/Corporate Compliance Department and the appropriate corporate administrative departments in preparations for audits., • Develops as requested, initial plans of corrective action, incident reports, and program evaluation reports and addresses areas that need improvement., • Exercises control over budgets through planning, prioritizing of spending, and monitoring of spending patterns., • Approves/disapproves all purchase orders and financial requests from staff and submits approved purchase orders and financial requests to supervisor for approval., • Ensures adherence by staff to all internal and external funds management (wrap-around funds, Metro Card) procedures and accountability measures., • Promotes Mental Health educational activities in local communities; maintains liaison between local elected officials and community boards, educates citizens in the community on mental illness., • Educates staff and residents/consumers on the importance of a constructive relationship with local elected officials, community boards, and community citizens., • Cooperates with other organizations in development of understanding and interest participating in long range planning for mental health program development. The Technician or Mechanic is not only responsible for understanding maintenance and breakdown needs and initiating/ assigning necessary repairs, but also must be able to operate the machinery being repaired. What the role entails: We are offering an exceptional opportunity for a Matrimonial Associate to become a key part of our Matrimonial & Family Law Practice. The ideal candidate will have 3-12 years of experience (5+ years preferred) in multiple phases of litigation, be highly motivated, detail-oriented, and possess a strong work ethic. All applicants must demonstrate excellence in writing, legal analysis, research, and have strong communication skills. Candidates must be highly responsive, flexible, creative, passionate about their work, and fully committed to providing exceptional client service and a top-quality work product. Essential responsibilities include: • Handle all aspects of divorce and family law cases from inception through completion., • Draft motions and cross motions for pendente lite relief, draft ex parte emergency motions, manage the discovery process, and prepare exhibits and documents for hearings and trials., • Research effectively and efficiently, having proficiency in using Westlaw., • Draft discovery demands and responses, oversee document production and review, including all manner of e-discovery., • Conduct and defend depositions., • Work with the senior attorneys to develop collaborative strategies and advise clients regarding their best interests, serving in some cases as the principal contact., • Expertly manage case deadlines., • Proficiency in New York and federal civil and appellate procedures., • Experience in a variety of litigations., • Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple cases., • Impeccable attention to detail., • Demonstrated excellence in research, writing, and legal analysis., • An excellent academic record and interpersonal skills., • Comfortable working with clients who are dealing with highly stressful and emotional situations., • Some trial or hearing experience is helpful., • In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire. Compensation & benefits: The good faith base annual salary range for this position is a minimum of $130,000 to a maximum of $215,000. The actual salary rate offered to candidates within that range will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, years of relevant experience, applicable bar admissions, office location, and the candidate's overall qualifications for the position as assessed by the Firm.
