Position Overview The Technical Account Manager supports customer engagement, adoption, and technical alignment for advanced photonics‐driven and high‐compute solutions. This role works closely with engineering, product, and commercial teams to help customers understand technology capabilities, guide technical evaluations, and ensure successful integration into real‐world workflows. As a technical ambassador, this role educates customers on how solutions can accelerate compute‐intensive and optimization‐focused applications, assists with hands‐on technical scoping, and supports the full customer lifecycle. The Technical Account Manager plays a key role in helping organizations evaluate, deploy, and scale advanced technologies built on photonics and high‐performance computing architectures. Responsibilities • Serve as a technical point of contact for customers, supporting product evaluations, integration efforts, and ongoing adoption, • Understand customer use cases—particularly compute‐intensive workloads and optimization problems—and map them to appropriate solutions, • Collaborate cross‐functionally with Product, Engineering, and Sales teams to ensure smooth onboarding and deployment, • Create and deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, proof‐of‐concepts, and product recommendations, • Maintain a detailed understanding of customer environments, technical requirements, feedback, and long‐term growth opportunities, • Support the development and management of an opportunity pipeline in collaboration with sales teams, • Represent the organization at industry events, customer workshops, and technical sessions, • Support contract discussions and technical scoping for customer engagements, • Monitor industry trends across photonics, high‐performance computing, and optimization technologies, • Drive double‐digit millions in annual revenue through new customer acquisitions and partnerships Required Qualifications • 5–10 years of experience in photonics, optics, advanced computing, or related high‐technology environments, • Experience supporting complex technical products, preferably high‐compute systems or photonics‐based hardware, • Ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non‐technical stakeholders, • Strong problem‐solving abilities and comfort working with customers on real‐world technical challenges, • Experience supporting product adoption, technical customer success, or pre‐/post‐sales engineering work, • Strong collaboration skills and comfort working across engineering, product, and business teams, • Ability to manage multiple customer engagements simultaneously Preferred Qualifications • Background in technical account management, solutions engineering, or technical customer success, • Experience with photonics‐based systems, optical components, sensors, or high‐performance computing, • Familiarity with technical sales cycles, product evaluations, or customer integrations, • Exposure to optimization problems, HPC workflows, or computational modeling, • Experience in fast‐paced, innovative technology environments Compensation & Benefits • Annual performance‐based bonus, • Medical, dental, and vision insurance with 100% employee premium coverage, • Unlimited paid time off, • 401(k) with company match, • Relocation assistance may be available based on role and candidate needs
