Supreme HVAC is looking for a Delivery Driver who is responsible for transporting (HVAC) equipment and supplies to job sites, warehouses, or customers. The Delivery Driver loads and unloads materials, ensures proper handling and safety, and maintains delivery schedules. • Safely drives on the road delivering products in various weather conditions, • Completes pre-trip and post-trip inspection sheets, • Inspects equipment to ensure safe operating conditions – checks oil and fuel prior to leaving the yard, • Secures load and/or inspects load to ensure has been properly secured, • Performs duties consistent with all applicable safety, DOT and Company rules, • Conducts preventive maintenance to truck and ensures truck is clean, • Maintains appropriate driving records, logs, and shipping documents as required, • Verifies shipping documents for accuracy, and obtains customer's signature on paperwork upon delivery, • Safely load and unload trucks, • Clean out vans as needed, • Willing to drive out of state, • Completes paperwork as required, • Participates in safety programs and meetings, • Must have valid driver's license with clean driving record, • Safe driving skills: proven abilities to safely operate a flat bed or box truck., • Must meet and pass DOT standards, • Forklift Certified, • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs, • Working knowledge of vehicle parts, and how to handle minor repairs to ensure vehicle is in proper operating conditions, • Ability to safely load/transfer products to designated locations in a timely manner without causing damage., • High level of attention to detail and surroundings, • Must be reliable and dependable; and able to work assigned hours and days (6am-2:30pm) Why Join Our Team?
