Job Description Job Summary QSAC is hiring a Residential Coordinator for our OPWDD-funded Residential Program for Manhattan, Queens, & Long Island support. This essential position is responsible for the general support, coordination and supervision of Residential operations; supervising staff, and maintaining a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment which fosters growth and facilitates the development of independence of the people we support. Travel to multiple locations is required! The salary range for this position is $70,000-$80,000 annually. Job Responsibilities Compliance & Operations • Ensure health, safety, & welfare of individuals., • Ensure overall compliance in all Residential programs., • Delegate specific tasks to Residence Manager and Shift Supervisors., • Supervise Petty Cash at residences., • Supervise individual’s personal banking accounts., • Oversee Nurse and Medical Coordinator in administration of medical appointments., • Maintain staff scheduling, • Responsible for communicating concerns to client's families., • Ensure that medical books are up-to date and accurately maintained., • Coordinate recreation and activities for the individuals we support., • Ensure individuals are receiving nutritional meals., • Report maintenance issues to Director of Administration., • Maintain individual/family confidentiality., • Commitment to company values and adherence to policies., • Bachelor's Degree and substantial related experience is required, • 1-2 years’ experience supporting people with intellectual/developmental disabilities required, • 1 year of OPWDD experience is highly preferred, • A minimum of 1 year supervisory work experience required, • Valid driver’s license and good driving record required for site visits is required, • 1-2 years’ experience driving large passenger vehicle required, • Clearance through state mandated background/fingerprint check(s), • Ability to communicate effectively with others and individuals served, • Ability to safely assist lifting individuals of various weights & 20 lb items QSAC is a New York City and Long Island based nonprofit that supports children and adults with autism, together with their families, in achieving greater independence, realizing their future potential, and contributing to their communities in a meaningful way by offering person-centered services.
