Job Description We are currently only interviewing Full Time (4-5 day) positions. We deliver 7 days/week but drivers work 4-5 days each week. Note: This is a job with Elder Delivers LLC. This is not a job with Amazon. (Experienced Amazon DAs - please let us know!) A little more about us; We deliver packages for Amazon. Our drivers come first. Candidates must: • be 21 years old with a valid driver’s license, • pass a drug test (does not include THC/marijuana), • pass a criminal background check, • be available to work from 10:30 am till 8:00 pm. ( This is our ONLY shift available and applicants must be able to work the entire shift on their assigned days), • Able to load, carry and deliver packages from the van to the customer Please understand that the drug test, background and DMV check are strict and waivers cannot be granted unfortunately. Job Description Job Summary The delivery driver is responsible for transporting golf cars from the yard or warehouse locations to businesses and residential properties in a safe and efficient manner. Supervisory Responsibilities: • None Duties/Responsibilities • Plan and execute the proper loading of golf cars onto a 30-foot open car/flatbed trailer., • Safely load and unload golf cars onto and from the trailer., • Perform pre and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment., • Utilize a navigation system to map routes and ensure timely delivery of golf cars to their destination., • Research and plan for potential traffic, construction, and weather delays to avoid disruptions., • Load inoperable golf cars by pushing them onto the trailer or using a winch., • Accept payment for rental or purchased golf cars at the delivery location., • Interact with clients in a professional and courteous manner., • Coordinate repairs for vehicles as needed during deliveries., • Document the condition of golf cars before and after transport., • Other duties may be assigned by management as needed. Required Skills/Abilities • Must be able to maneuver a 30-foot open car trailer/flatbed trailer forward and backward in various environments (i.e., driveways, uphill, tight situations) – Required, • Previous experience with towing a 30-foot open car trailer/flatbed trailer or equivalent – Required, • Ability to safely load, secure, and transport golf cars to customers in a safe and timely manner., • Attention to detail in all aspects of the job., • Time management and organizational skills to keep track of deliveries and adhere to schedules., • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with clients and management., • Must be able to operate a transportation system via an electronic device., • Willingness to work overtime as necessary to meet deadlines. Education and Experience • 3-5 years or more experience in the driving industry., • High School diploma or equivalent., • Must be 25 years of age or older to be insured under company insurance., • Clean driving record with a valid driver’s license. Physical Requirements • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 80 pounds., • Must be able to stand, lie, and kneel in awkward positions and spaces., • Ability to sit for extended periods of time., • Ability to stand for long periods as needed., • Manual dexterity and physical strength necessary to push or pull golf carts., • Visual acuity to inspect equipment and identify defects.
