Job Description A Japanese food manufacturing is looking for a QC technician in Somerset, NJ. Title: Food QC Specialist Location: Somerset, NJ Salary: 19-25/hr Hours: Monday to Friday from 9pm to 6am (Starting from Sunday 9pm) Type: Direct-hire, full-time will an excellent benefit package Responsibility: Testing of raw materials, work-in process and finished products. Conducting environmental testing for cleaning and sanitary verifications. Conducting internal inspections (GMP walk through, record checking, etc.) Following strict regulatory and internal guidelines. Serving as an active member of Food Safety Management Team. Documenting, reviewing documentation, and creating quality-related report Performing verification and validation of production processes and equipment. Collaborating with other employees to address and solve the quality issues promptly. Performing other functions as trained and requested by QC manager and Supervisor. Skills and Qualifications: Teamwork and collaboration. B.Sc. Degree in Food Science or other related field Minimum of 3 year working experience in food industry General knowledge of Food Safety, cGMP, and HACCP Knowledge and experience of SQF, FDA regulations, and FSMA/PCHF are plus Fundamental computer skills (e-mail, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.) Self-disciplined and Self-motivated English, Spanish (Preferred but not required) Ability to lift-up to 40lbs. Ability to work in various work conditions (hot, humid, cold, wet).
