Job Description KOMAN Government Solutions, LLC (KGS), a wholly-owned 8(a) subsidiary of the Natives of Kodiak (NOK), provides high-quality remediation, consulting, engineering, waste management, munition and construction services. KGS is characterized by our financial stability, positive and profitable growth and an excellent safety record. Our client base includes the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Army, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, U.S. Marine, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Department of Agriculture, National Guard Bureau, Federal Aviation Administration, as well as various state, municipal and commercial entities. We have an immediate need for a part-time (20-hours per week) Treatment Plant Operator located in the vicinity of the Naval Weapons Industrial Reserve Plant (NWIRP), Bethpage, New York. The Treatment Plant Operator is responsible for the operation and maintenance (O&M), monitoring, troubleshooting, and repairing various treatment plants. These may include groundwater treatment plants, wastewater pretreatment/treatment plants, drinking water treatment plants, soil vapor extraction/air sparge (SVE/AS) systems, or other treatment plants. The Treatment Plant Operator is responsible for general plant and property maintenance and implementation of onsite safety and quality control.
