    Harlem Shake is looking for an experienced, dependable, and hands-on Assistant Manager to support daily restaurant operations at our Harlem location. The Assistant Manager works closely with the Store Manager to lead the team, maintain strong operational standards, and provide an excellent guest experience. This is an active floor-management position that requires someone who can coach employees, solve problems, maintain accountability, and step into any area of the restaurant when needed. Van Leeuwen Ice Cream is hiring a full-time Logistics & Inventory Coordinator to join our Supply Chain team. As we continue to scale our CPG business across retail channels nationwide, this role is critical to ensuring our products move efficiently, on time, and on budget from our production facility to distributors, retail partners, and DTC fulfillment centers. Beyond freight, this role owns CPG inventory management end to end, weeks of supply (WOS) tracking, on-time-in-full (OTIF) performance at retailers, and inventory transfers across our 3PL network and supports our scoop shop business through 3PL inventory management, intercompany freight coordination, and logistics cost management and controls. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role sitting at the intersection of operations, vendor management, and customer service. You'll work closely with our production, sales, and finance teams to coordinate domestic freight movements, manage carrier relationships, manage inventory health across our distributor and 3PL network, and help build the logistics infrastructure that supports Van Leeuwen's next stage of growth. This role will be based out of our Bronx office and follow Van Leeuwen's Hybrid work model and be in office at least two to three days a week. Job Responsibilities • CPG Inventory Management, • Own CPG finished goods inventory visibility and accuracy across the network — production facility, 3PL warehouses, distributors, and DTC fulfillment centers, • Manage weeks of supply (WOS) by SKU and location at distributors and retailers, monitoring sell-through and flagging out-of-stock and overstock risks before they impact service or margin, • Plan and execute inventory transfers between 3PL warehouses, distributors, and fulfillment centers to balance stock, meet demand, and minimize freight and storage costs, • Reconcile 3PL and WMS inventory records against the ERP, investigating discrepancies, shrink, and damaged or short-dated product and driving root-cause resolution, • Report inventory KPIs (WOS, fill rate, inventory accuracy, aging) on a weekly cadence with clear recommendations for rebalancing or replenishment, • Freight & Transportation Management, • Coordinate inbound and outbound freight movements across LTL, FTL, and refrigerated transport for CPG retail and distributor accounts, • Book and manage shipments with carriers and 3PL partners, ensuring on-time pickup and delivery, • Track shipments in real time and proactively communicate delays or disruptions to internal stakeholders and retail partners, • Manage freight claims from initiation to resolution, including documentation and carrier follow-up, • Ensure all shipments meet temperature and cold chain compliance standards required for frozen CPG products, • Distributor & Retail Compliance, • Coordinate order fulfillment for key retail accounts (grocery, natural, club, and specialty channels), ensuring compliance with retailer routing guides and vendor requirements, • Manage ASN creation and EDI coordination with retail partners and distributors, • Monitor and reduce chargebacks and deductions related to logistics non-compliance, • Manage OTIF (On-Time, In-Full) performance at retail partners — monitor retailer scorecards, perform root-cause analysis on misses, and implement corrective actions to minimize fines and protect vendor standing, • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of retailer-specific routing, labeling, and scheduling requirements, • Vendor & Carrier Relations, • Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers, brokers, and 3PL partners, • Solicit and evaluate freight quotes, supporting cost optimization across the supply chain, • Assist in identifying and onboarding new logistics partners as the network scales, • Scoop Shop Supply Chain Support, • Manage 3PL inventory and weeks of supply (WOS) for the scoop shop business, ensuring product availability for shops while minimizing excess, aged, and short-dated stock, • Coordinate intercompany freight between production facilities, 3PL warehouses, and scoop shop distribution points, ensuring on-time, temperature-compliant, and cost-effective deliveries, • Own cost management and controls for scoop shop logistics — track freight and storage spend against budget, audit carrier and 3PL invoices, flag variances, and identify savings opportunities, • Support intercompany inventory transfers and reconciliation between the CPG and scoop shop businesses, ensuring accurate intercompany records in the ERP, • Operations & Reporting, • Maintain accurate records of all shipments, freight costs, and carrier performance in TMS and ERP systems, • Generate regular freight spend and performance reports, identifying trends and cost-saving opportunities, • Collaborate with production and inventory planning teams to align shipment scheduling with production output and inventory availability, • Support month-end close by reconciling freight invoices and accruals Job Requirements • 2 to 4 years of experience in logistics, freight coordination, inventory management, or supply chain, preferably within CPG, food & beverage, or perishable goods, • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field preferred, • Familiarity with LTL, FTL, and refrigerated freight operations, • Experience working with distributors and retail accounts (UNFI, KeHE, DPI, or similar a plus), • Working knowledge of routing guides, EDI, and ASN processes, • Proficiency in TMS, ERP, or WMS platforms; JOB DESCRIPTION Summary/ Objective East Side House (ESH) provides high-quality, year-round programming in NYCHA community centers and public schools, serving youth and families through education, workforce readiness, recreation, and community engagement. Reporting to the Senior and/or Department Director, the Program Director oversees the development, implementation, and supervision of Early Childhood Education & Elementary Division. This includes daily operations, staff management, compliance, and creating safe, inclusive, and responsive environments that promote positive outcomes. As a member of the Early Childhood Education & Elementary Division, the Program Director is expected to lead dynamic, age-appropriate programming for Elementary age participants and community members. This role includes direct supervision of the Assistant Program Director, Group Leaders, Activity Specialist, and other frontline staff. It requires regular collaboration with Human Resources, Finance, IT, and other East Side House departments. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Under the supervision of the Senior Director and /or Department Director, the Program Director will: • Provide strategic leadership and day-to-day oversight of youth and adult programs, including evenings, weekends, and summer., • Recruit, hire, schedule, onboard, and supervise full-time and part-time staff., • Monitor performance and ensure compliance with DYCD goals, quality standards, and contractual requirements., • Conduct staff evaluations, provide ongoing coaching, and lead monthly professional development and team meetings., • Oversee the design and delivery of engaging, age-appropriate programming focused on academics, recreation, workforce readiness, and cultural enrichment., • Ensure compliance with DOH School-Aged Child Care and Summer Day regulations, including quarterly inspections., • Train staff on safety protocols and ensure emergency preparedness., • Track attendance and maintain accurate records using DYCD Connect and internal systems., • Manage CACFP Food Program compliance and documentation., • Serve as the main point of contact for NYCHA, DYCD, schools, families, and community partners., • Build relationships with residents, tenant associations, youth councils, and community stakeholders., • Conduct quarterly community assessments and incorporate participant feedback into program planning., • Plan and execute four community events and a series of family workshops annually., • Cultivate at least three new partnerships each year to expand program offerings., • Manage the program budget, process purchase orders, and submit reports on time., • Represent the program in required meetings and maintain regular communication with NYCHA and DYCD., • Collaborate with ESH colleagues to coordinate events, share best practices, and support agency-wide initiatives., • Perform other duties as assigned.
