This is a truly unique opportunity to join the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Inpatient Service Line – a three-unit, inpatient service that provides comprehensive pediatric care for children ages 5-12 and adolescents ages 13-17. Our care team is multidisciplinary consisting of child and adolescent psychiatrists, nurses, pharmacists, psychiatric attendants, social workers, as well as recreational, music and art therapists. Responsibilities include psychiatric evaluations, evidence-based treatments including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), development of recommendations for continued care and medical student education. Our team is responsive to the unique needs of children and adolescents and focused on empowering them to manage their symptoms, attain personal goals and function effectively when they re-enter the community.
