Job Description Our organization is excited to announce an opening for a full-time Urologist in Long Island! We operate the only free-standing Emergency Department in Long Island that receives 9-1-1 calls, situated in Long Beach. Alongside our comprehensive outpatient specialty centers, we offer both emergency and elective angioplasty services. We are recognized as a Stroke Center by the New York State Department of Health and designated as a Comprehensive Community Cancer Center by the American College of Surgeons. Additionally, we are accredited by the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Association and the Quality Improvement Program. Our facility has received the Joint Commission's gold seal of approval for specialized care in various areas, including heart failure, primary stroke, hip and knee replacements, wound care, bariatric surgery, and end-stage renal disease. Recently, we were re-accredited as one of the first programs in the United States by the Infectious Diseases Society of America as a Center of Excellence for Antimicrobial Stewardship. Position Overview: • Collaborate with a vast primary care referral network and numerous specialties, such as cardiology, neurology, gastroenterology, orthopedics, pain management, allergy, urology, radiology, and hematology/oncology., • Serve a varied patient population while residing in a community known for its outstanding school districts., • Benefit from a supportive team, including Medical Assistants, Registered Nurses, Physician Assistants, urodynamics specialists, and a fully equipped on-site imaging center., • No obligations for teaching, research, or administrative tasks., • Medical Degree from an accredited institution., • Active New York Medical License and NYS DEA registration., • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Urology., • Dedication to our organization and the communities we serve., • Strong communication skills, excellent bedside manner, and organizational abilities., • A robust work ethic and a commitment to being part of a team-oriented, performance-driven healthcare system., • Ability to collaborate respectfully and build strong relationships with colleagues.
