Job Summary: The Intermodal Dispatcher is responsible for coordinating container movements between marine terminals, rail yards, and customer locations. This role ensures timely pickups and returns by managing terminal appointment systems, verifying steamship line requirements, and maintaining accurate schedules for drivers and equipment. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, appointment‑driven environment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: • Schedule and manage appointment times for container pickups and returns at marine and rail terminals using appointment‑based systems, • Make and confirm pickup appointments for import and export containers, • Verify correct container return locations for each steamship line and ensure compliance with terminal requirements, • Coordinate terminal cut‑off times and appointment availability to maximize efficiency and minimize delays, • Communicate appointment details and changes to drivers, carriers, and internal teams, • Monitor terminal access, gate hours, and congestion to proactively adjust schedules, • Ensure accurate documentation and data entry related to appointments and container movements Resolve appointment issues, missed gates, or terminal changes as they arise, • Maintain organized records of appointments, returns, and terminal interactions REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: -Minimum 5 years dispatching • dealing with brokers, clients, drivers, etc., • MUST be the person that is working directly with the drivers. Overview: The Bulk Technician driver operates tractors and vacuum trailers servicing municipal, industrial and commercial customers with non-hazardous bulk liquid transportation and disposal services. The Segment H component of the project along Bound Brook includes earthen levee which ties into a railroad embankment, floodwall and one (1) road closure gate interior drainage features (swales, ponding areas, drainage, pipes), generator building, road raising and utility relocation, development of permit applications and incidental related work. Essential Functions: Outside work environment consists of observing work activities such as construction installation, material storage, equipment usage, documenting progress with photos, documenting actions in QA daily report, documenting deficiencies, and compliance to codes and standards. Primary Responsibilities • Early engagement with the Sales and engineering team during tendering / sales phase, • Execution of new sales projects from contract signed to handover to customer as well as BEUMER's Customer Support department., • Organizing the projects through the BEUMER Stage Gate model with planning, specifications, design, production, installation/commissioning planning and agreements to execute within the agreed time frame., • Proactive and effective communication with customers, stakeholders, and the project team to ensure transparency, clarity and commitment throughout the project., • Lead a multi-disciplined project team throughout the complete project life cycle in coordination with other entities across BEUMER Group., • Mange key project management processes such as Scope/requirements management, Supply chain management, change management, risk management, etc., • Being proactive, identify, and manage opportunities and risks continuously with the right engagement level of the project stakeholders, manage potential back charges and claims and create essential documentation., • Responsible for the overall project delivery, quality/capacity wise, technically, time frame and financially., • Develop and update project schedule, • Create financial reporting and control the project budget, • Technical clarification with the project engineering team and support to site during installation, commissioning, and final testing., • Compiling report, track project tasks, update monthly status reports, • Coordination and preparation for meetings with customers as well as for internal alignment / reporting, • Follow up on action points and expedite critical activities, • Keep project documents updated and manage changes with the project team, • Support the QSHE department to ensure project health, safety and environmental standards meet or exceed legislated requirements and company policy., • Efficiently close out projects incl. making sure all customer documentation is created and stored and the projects are completely closed in the system., • Min. Bachelor's degree in engineering; mechanical, electrical, software, construction management, or similar technical field. Alternatively, at least 5 years of relevant industrial PM experience., • Project management experience with delivering projects, preferably in the mechatronic/industrial automation industry., • Strong technical background (electrical, mechanical-, marine engineer or similar), • Strong contractual and commercial knowledge and experience to manage projects as per project´s contractual agreement and commercial terms and conditions, • Process oriented and able to implement project management processes based on PMO standards., • Skilled project manager with cross-cultural understanding and good interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills., • Hands-on approach, with the ability to motivate others toward success., • Excellent report writing and presentation skills., • Essential skills include planning and budgeting, project administration, and decision-making / creative problem-solving skills., • Work closely with team members and decision makers to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective project delivery., • Able to interface with all members of the organization in a professional, calm, helpful and courteous manner – including Senior Executive Management, Project Management, engineering, supply chain and external stakeholders., • Strong, independent decision-making ability. Self-starter and possess a strong work ethic with a self-imposed desire to exceed everyday expectations., • Participate in required on-going technical training to be a systems subject matter expert., • Must be willing to travel and work as part of a global team of professionals as required (up to 25 % of the time)., • PMP Certification is required or must obtain PMI/PMP Certification within one year of hire.
