    About the Role The Head Maître d’ owns NORTE’s reservation book and leads the guest experience from the first request for a table through the end of the visit. This role combines commercial judgment, precise dining room management, and highly personal hospitality. Qualifications • Prior experience as a Maître d’, Head Maître d’, or Reservations Manager at a high-demand New York City restaurant., • Direct, hands-on ownership of the reservation book, table inventory, waitlist, VIP relationships, and service pacing., • Strong command of Resy or OpenTable and restaurant table management., • Demonstrated ability to recognize guests, build regular clientele, and make effective decisions under pressure., • Excellent communication, organization, discretion, and sound business judgment., • Required: Fluent in English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages, • Strong social intelligence, presence, and emotional awareness in high-profile guest-facing environments, • Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive guest matters with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment, • Warm, polished, and hospitality-driven demeanor, with a genuine passion for creating memorable guest experiences., • High level of professionalism, confidence, and poise in fast-paced, high-demand restaurant environments, • Preferred: Experience with a hospitality CRM such as Loyalist and established relationships within New York City’s restaurant community. POSITION SUMMARY The Joe & The Juice Team is looking for a highly motivated, skilled tax professional to join our in-house tax team. Based in New York City, this role will report into the Senior Manager, Tax, in Copenhagen. The Manager of Tax will be a key member of the tax team, responsible for the day-to-day operations, including the accuracy and timeliness of compliance and tax reporting matters. This position will support direct and indirect tax compliance and tax accounting matters for Joe & The Juice's US and global operations. The role will partner with Accounting and Finance stakeholders to support them with all tax related matters. The role interfaces with partners across the organization, including the Accounting, Treasury, HR, Finance, Real estate & Growth and Legal teams to optimize existing processes, solve business challenges, design new workflows, and implement new technology solutions to drive efficient and accurate reporting. You will be responsible for strengthening relationships with third party advisors. You will be a critical member in the development of an adaptive Tax department that continues to scale to support Joe & The Juice's growth goals. Responsibilities • Visit doctors' offices, hospitals, rehabilitation centers, senior centers, adult day care centers, assisted living communities, and other referral sources., • Build relationships with healthcare professionals, social workers, discharge planners, case managers, and community organizations., • Distribute brochures and marketing materials in approved locations., • Attend health fairs, senior expos, networking events, and community outreach programs., • Identify new referral sources and business opportunities., • Follow up with prospective partners and maintain ongoing relationships., • Track outreach activities and contacts using company systems or CRM., • Collaborate with management to develop outreach strategies and marketing initiatives., • Represent the company with professionalism and excellent customer service. Qualifications • Strong communication and interpersonal skills., • Friendly, confident, and comfortable speaking with new people., • Ability to work independently and manage a local territory., • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license., • Experience in community outreach, marketing, healthcare, customer service, or sales is preferred but not required., • Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
