Job Description JOB DEFINITION: The primary responsibility of the Registered Nurse is to maintain the security, care, use and disposal of all medication held by the program, maintain medical equipment in the clinic, administer medications to patients, conduct basic physical health screenings, and coordinate care between physical, behavioral healthcare providers. The Registered Nurse provides direct patient care and implements treatment plans under the direction of the Nurse Manager and medical staff, following established clinical guidelines, policies, and procedures. EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be currently licensed as a Registered Nurse by the NY State Department of Education, and possess an Associate's (if awarded prior to December 18, 2017), Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program*.
