As a Clinical Research Assistant, PRN (Registered Nurse) you'll play a key role in delivering life-changing research opportunities to participants but with the flexibility to work when and where it fits your life. How You'll Make An Impact In this event-based role, you'll: • Support participant care and event operations, including phlebotomy, specimen handling, and documentation (paper or electronic)., • Help set up and manage clinical research events to ensure they run smoothly, safely, and compliantly., • Clinical & Participant Care: Perform venipuncture and capillary collections (as applicable) while maintaining aseptic technique and participant comfort. Handle and prepare biospecimens with care — labeling, processing, packaging, and transferring or shipping under proper chain-of-custody and temperature controls. All employees of URAM are responsible to perform their job practicing good risk management, quality assurance, and delivering excellent internal and external customer service. Under the supervision of the Medical Director and in accordance with established policies and procedures, the Internal Medicine Physician delivers high quality comprehensive primary care for homeless, underserved, chronically ill populations including HIV, Hepatitis C, SUD, Diabetes, Heart Disease and other comorbidities. The AIDS institute Guidelines and the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF) are utilized as resources and guides for accepted standards of care. This is a hybrid role where you will dedicate approximately 70% of your time to high-level executive and operational support, coordinating across multiple projects within the Inclusive Cities practice, providing administrative support including calendaring, and taking on special projects for the practice.
