Job Description Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Make a Difference Every Day! What You’ll Do As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you’ll provide hands-on care and support for adults or children with developmental disabilities. Every day is different, and you’ll play a key role in helping individuals thrive. You will: · Assist with personal care and hygiene, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming. · Support daily living tasks like cooking, housekeeping, and mobility. · Encourage independence and skill-building while managing a variety of behaviors with patience and professionalism. · Document progress and communicate with the care team to ensure consistent, person-centered support. What You’ll Bring · A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (required) · 1 year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in a caregiving/support role. · Compassion, patience, and strong communication skills. · Ability to work independently and as part of a team. · Ability to assist with mobility and daily support needs.
