Position Description The Information Technology Analyst will report to the System Administrator II under the direction of the Assistant Director of IT. The incumbent will work in a team environment providing IT system and user support for EFC. In addition to core responsibilities, the Information Technology Analyst may be assigned special projects and other IT support tasks. Essential Duties • Respond to helpdesk inquiries and assist staff with IT related concerns in a professional and courteous manner, • Maintain asset inventory systems along with coordinating purchase orders, • Track hardware and software renewals, • Provide support for endpoints and peripherals, including docks, monitors, printers, and laptops, • Desktop endpoint support laptop & PC hardware (Dell tickets & order tracking), • Mobile device management for iPhones, • Provide assistance to system administrators for board meeting streaming and related audiovisual needs, • Assist with set up and installation of network applications, hardware, software, and system upgrades, • Assist with PC/laptop set up, deployment, and ongoing updates (drivers, firmware and imaging), • Assist and educate end users on network usage, • Assist with onboarding and offboarding of personnel into IT systems, • Maintain email distribution lists, • Aid in meeting coordination Qualifications Required • Associates degree in information technology or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience to successfully perform the duties of the position as determined by the Corporation, • At least one year of system administration work experience including:, • Windows OS, • Laptop/PC imaging and deployment, • Installation and maintenance of a mobile device management platform, • Web conferencing support (WebEx, Microsoft Teams), • Maintaining an asset inventory system, • Helpdesk operations and providing tech support to customers Preferred • Bachelors degree in information technology or a related field, • Familiarity with various security technologies and risk management frameworks, • Knowledge of NYS information technology policies and procedures Additional Skills • Self-motivated and proactive, • Ability to understand user needs, identify the root cause of problems, and implement practical solutions, • Strong analytical skills and decision-making ability, • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and with people of diverse backgrounds and experiences, • Solid organizational and time management skills Application Requirements and Related Information Salary will be based on experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
